: Distribution of T-shirt to newly admitted students of Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Nasarawa State University,Keffi.

Comrade Suleiman Musa Omaku, the President of Natural and Applied Sciences Students Association (NASSA), commenced the distribution of faculty T-shirts to 100-level students across all Departments in the Faculty.
The exercise began with the presentation of T-shirts to the fourteen (14) course representatives of the 100-level faculty, after which distribution continued to other students. This initiative, according to the President, is part of his administration’s commitment to promoting unity, identity, and uniformity among students within the faculty.
He further noted that the early distribution of the T-shirts is strategically planned in preparation for the forthcoming faculty orientation programme scheduled to hold next week.
In his concluding remarks, Comrade Musa urged all 100-level students to wear the T-shirts during the orientation exercise slated for Thursday next week. He also reassured students that the distribution process will continue until all eligible students are duly covered.
The President emphasized that this initiative reflects his administration’s dedication to effective leadership and its continuous support for newly admitted students.

ASUU threatens strike within four days over pay deal

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has warned the Federal Government of Nigeria to immediately implement the newly approved salary structure for university lecturers or face a possible nationwide shutdown of public universities.
The union issued a four-day ultimatum on Thursday, with its president, Christopher Piwuna, saying failure to act within the deadline would trigger a strong response.
Speaking at Sa’adu Zungur University in Bauchi State, Piwuna said the government must begin payment under the new salary arrangement without further delay.

The Department of Computer Science, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has recorded a landmark achievement as one of its outstanding students, Ademu Abdullahadi, emerges as the Grand Prize Winner of the Huawei ICT Competition (Computing Track).
