FAMSAS College of Health Science and Technology unveiled 2025 revised Staff Handbook and Conditions of Service for all categories of staff. This important step is aimed at strengthening institutional governance, clarifying rights and responsibilities, and aligning our internal policies with current regulatory and best‑practice standards in the Nigerian tertiary education system.
The revised handbook provides clear guidelines on appointments, promotions, disciplinary procedures, workload, remunerations, leave, and other welfare provisions, ensuring greater transparency and fairness in the management of staff matters. All staff are strongly advised to obtain a copy, study the provisions carefully, and comply with the new regulations as they take immediate effect.

- ND Epidemiology and Disease Control Technology

General Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Relevant academic qualifications in the respective field from recognized institutions, with a minimum of a good grade/class.
- Current registration and valid practicing licence with the appropriate professional regulatory council/board (e.g. MLSCN, PCN, etc.) for professional positions.
- Evidence of teaching experience in a College/School of Health, or demonstrable ability to teach, mentor, and assess students.
- Good communication skills, high ethical standards, and proficiency in basic ICT for teaching and record keeping.

Famsas College of Health Pays Courtesy Visit to CMD, Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital
The leadership of Famsas College of Health, Keffi, led by the Provost, Pharm Yahaya Aruwa, today paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ikrama. The visit was aimed at strengthening ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration in healthcare education, research, and services.
During the visit, discussions centered on ways to enhance partnerships between the college and the teaching hospital, including student clinical placements, faculty exchange, and joint research initiatives. The visit also served as an opportunity for the college to congratulate Dr. Ikrama on his leadership and express their commitment to working together to advance healthcare in the region.
The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Ikrama, welcomed the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for the potential collaboration, highlighting the benefits of partnership in improving healthcare outcomes and developing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
