🚨 PLEASE, STOP TELLING ME ABOUT PEOPLE WHO SCAMMED YOU!

There is something I would like some people to understand whenever I announce the price of my educational materials.

Please stop telling me about people who scammed you in the past when I tell you the price of my materials.

I completely understand that you may have had a bad experience with someone before. You may have paid for a material and never received it. You may have been promised something valuable and received something disappointing. You may even have lost money to an online vendor.

But please understand that your previous experience with someone else does not determine the value or integrity of my work.

I am an educational content creator.

I spend time researching, developing, organising, editing and packaging educational materials that can be useful to school owners, administrators, teachers, parents and other education professionals.

When I tell you the price of a material, I am not asking you to pay for nothing.

I am offering you value, and I expect payment in return.

Just as you expect to be paid for your own work, I also deserve to be paid for the knowledge, time, creativity and effort invested in producing my materials.

💡 YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NOT MY PRICE TAG

If someone scammed you before, that is unfortunate.

But when you come to me and say:

"Someone collected money from me before and didn't send the material."

or

"I have been scammed several times online."

please don't expect me to reduce my price simply because another person behaved dishonestly.

Judge my service based on what I provide.

Ask questions. Request clarification about the material. Verify the details. Make an informed decision.

But please don't turn someone else's fraudulent behaviour into an argument against paying a legitimate content creator for valuable work.

📚 EDUCATIONAL CONTENT CREATION IS WORK

People sometimes think that because an educational material is delivered digitally, it should be extremely cheap or even free.

That is not how content creation works.

Behind a quality educational material are hours of:

- Research
- Writing
- Editing
- Reviewing
- Formatting
- Curriculum alignment
- Organisation
- Digital preparation
- Professional experience

Digital does not mean worthless.

A PDF can represent hours or even days of intellectual work.

🤝 LET'S RESPECT EACH OTHER

I respect your money.

I also expect you to respect my work.

If you cannot afford a material, simply say:

"I cannot afford it at the moment."

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

If the price does not suit your budget, you are free not to purchase.

But please don't respond to the price by telling me stories about people who scammed you.

I am not the person who scammed you.

I am here to create educational resources, provide value and build a sustainable educational content business.

🏫 SAPENTIAL EDUCATIONAL LTD

At Sapiential Educational LTD, our goal is to provide useful and professionally prepared educational resources that can support schools, teachers, administrators and education professionals.

We believe that quality educational content deserves recognition—and fair payment.

So, the next time you see me announce the price of an educational material, please remember:

I am not forcing you to buy.

I am simply offering you a product that I have invested time, knowledge and effort to create.

If you need it and the price works for you, buy it.

If you don't need it or cannot afford it, move on respectfully.

But please…

🚨 STOP USING OTHER PEOPLE'S SCAMS TO NEGOTIATE THE VALUE OF MY WORK!

🚨 WHY DOES YOUR SCHOOL NEED A SCHOOL POLICY HANDBOOK?

A school without clear policies is a school where confusion, inconsistency and avoidable conflicts can easily become the order of the day.

Many school owners focus heavily on buildings, uniforms, textbooks, fees and advertising, but overlook one important management document: the School Policy Handbook.

A good School Policy Handbook gives the school a clear framework for how things should be done. It helps management, teachers, non-teaching staff, learners and parents understand their responsibilities, rights, expectations and boundaries.

📘 WHY YOUR SCHOOL NEEDS A POLICY HANDBOOK

1️⃣ IT BRINGS CONSISTENCY TO SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

Without written policies, different members of staff may interpret the same situation differently.

A handbook provides standard procedures and expectations, helping the school respond to similar situations consistently.

2️⃣ IT CLARIFIES STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

Teachers and other employees need to understand what the school expects from them.

Policies can address areas such as:

- Attendance and punctuality
- Professional conduct
- Lesson preparation
- Classroom management
- Staff meetings
- Leave and absence
- Communication
- Confidentiality
- Disciplinary procedures
- Use of school resources

3️⃣ IT HELPS MANAGE LEARNER BEHAVIOUR

A school should not wait until there is a serious behavioural problem before deciding what to do.

A policy handbook can establish clear expectations regarding discipline, bullying, examination misconduct, attendance, use of technology, dress code and general student conduct.

4️⃣ IT HELPS PARENTS UNDERSTAND SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS

Parents should know what the school expects from them and what they can expect from the school.

Clear policies can reduce unnecessary arguments and misunderstandings between parents and school management.

5️⃣ IT SUPPORTS PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

A professionally managed school should not depend entirely on verbal instructions.

When important procedures are documented, the school becomes more organised, predictable and accountable.

6️⃣ IT PROTECTS THE SCHOOL FROM A “WE WERE NOT TOLD” CULTURE

Imagine a teacher saying, “Nobody told me this was the school's policy.”

Or a parent saying, “We didn't know this was the rule.”

Written policies help ensure that important expectations are clearly communicated.

7️⃣ IT HELPS NEW STAFF UNDERSTAND THE SCHOOL QUICKLY

When a new teacher resumes, orientation becomes easier when the school has a comprehensive handbook explaining its systems, procedures, standards and expectations.

8️⃣ IT BUILDS A STRONG SCHOOL CULTURE

School culture is not created by slogans alone.

It is strengthened by clearly communicated values, expectations, procedures and standards that are consistently implemented.

🎯 SCHOOL OWNERS, ASK YOURSELF:

If a new teacher resumes tomorrow, can you give that teacher one document that clearly explains how your school operates?

If your answer is NO, then your school may need a School Policy Handbook.

Don't wait until confusion, conflict or poor administration forces you to create one.

“PLEASE” IS NOT RUDE — SOMETIMES, YOU JUST MISUNDERSTOOD THE WORD!

Someone recently typed “Hi” in my WhatsApp inbox.

I replied:

“Please, what do you want?”

The person responded that my reply sounded rude.

I paused for a moment and asked myself: When did the word “please” become rude?

The problem is not always the word. Sometimes, the problem is how we interpret words without understanding their meaning or the context in which they are used.

📌 WHAT DOES “PLEASE” ACTUALLY MEAN?

The word “please” is commonly used to make a request more polite, courteous or acceptable.

For example:

- Please, sit down.
- Please, send me your name.
- Please, what do you want?
- Please, can you explain further?
- Please, wait for a moment.

In these examples, “please” does not automatically make the speaker rude.

In fact, removing “please” can sometimes make a statement sound more direct:

“What do you want?”

Compared with:

“Please, what do you want?”

The second expression contains a politeness marker. However, tone, punctuation, relationship and context can still influence how the receiver interprets it.

🎯 THE REAL LESSON

Communication is not only about the words we use. It is also about context, tone, intention and interpretation.

Two people can read the same sentence and understand it differently.

One person may see:

«“Please, what do you want?”»

as a polite request for clarification.

Another person may interpret it as:

«“Why are you disturbing me?”»

That difference is called interpretation.

Therefore, before concluding that someone is rude, we should consider what the person actually said, the context and possibly their intention.

🧠 THIS IS WHY EDUCATION MATTERS

We need to teach our children not only vocabulary, but also pragmatics—how language functions in real-life communication.

Knowing the meaning of a word is different from knowing how, when and why that word is used.

A learner may know the dictionary meaning of “please”, but still misunderstand its use in a particular conversation.

That is why education should go beyond memorising definitions from textbooks.

🏫 A MESSAGE TO SCHOOLS, TEACHERS AND PARENTS

Our responsibility is to raise learners who can read, understand, interpret and communicate effectively.

Language is powerful.

A simple word can be interpreted differently depending on context.

So, before saying:

“That person was rude,”

ask:

“What exactly did the person say?”

“What was the context?”

“Could there be another interpretation?”

Sometimes, the person you think is being rude is simply communicating differently from the way you expected.

✍️ SAPENTIAL EDUCATIONAL LTD

At Sapiential Educational LTD, we believe that education should develop not only academic knowledge but also effective communication, critical thinking and proper understanding of language.

Don't judge words only by how they sound to you. Understand their meaning, context and intention.

PLEASE is not automatically rude. Sometimes, the problem is not the word — it is the interpretation.
