You may never know the number of people who die everyday until death takes someone you know.

I met a man not quite long ago in an eatery and somehow there was a soulish connection between us and we got talking deeply about so many things, especially business.

He flew into Nigeria for the first time after 20yrs for his father's funeral.

He confided a lot in me. I mean a lot. We agreed on the stuffs we would run together. We exchanged business cards and his lasts words to me before we parted was "Kenny you have an awesome personality. I like you, and will definitely keep in touch" Those words made my day.

I called him Two weeks later to wish him happy New month. He didn't pick. I sent him SMS, only for his wife to reply me much later with his phone that he died few days after my meeting with him.

That again made me wonder at this life. What is so special about this life that justifies the arrogant and pompous manner in which some of us live it ?

Why do some people live in so much hatred, envy, jealousy bitterness and rancour ?

Why the greed? Why the selfishness? Why the wars?
Why do some of us find it difficult to let go, to forgive, to apologize or accept apology?
Why do our anger last for a very long time?
Why do we practice so much witchcraft, quarrels and beefing?

Why do we live as if we are the "lords" of our lives? Why do we fight against one another?

Let's all live with the consciousness that ONE DAY, everything about our life in this flesh will end. The only thing that will remain will be memories,and whether or not they will be good memories is predicted on the kind of relationship we have with our fellow humans.
