Dan Malikin Kano, Hakimin Rimingado, served as the Father of the Day. The Directot KERD was also among the special guests, along with dignitaries from the Ministry of Education, Local Government Education Authorities, and the University Management led by the University Librarian.

The ceremony took place at the Alhaji Alhassan Dantata Auditorium, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano.
