ADDY BASIC SCHOOL: CELEBRATING NIGERIA'S INDEPENDENCE (In Advance)

Today, Addy Basic School celebrates Nigeria's 64th Independence Day in a spectacular fashion! Our students, teachers, and community members joined forces for a vibrant school celebration and community rally, showcasing national pride and unity.

The celebration kicked off with inspiring presentations by our students on the assembly ground, sharing captivating facts and reflections about Nigeria's rich history and cultural heritage.

Next, our talented students transported us back in time with a captivating drama that vividly depicted Nigeria's journey from colonial era to independence. The emotional performance highlighted the struggles, triumphs, and sacrifices made by Nigerian heroes.

The entire school community then stood together to sing the Nigerian national anthem and recite the national pledge, reaffirming our commitment to unity, peace, and progress.

Throughout the event, we celebrated Nigeria's advancements in education, healthcare, technology, and infrastructure, honoring the resilience and determination of Nigerians striving for a brighter future.

The day culminated in a spirited community rally, where students, parents, and community members marched through the streets, waving Nigerian flags and donning green and white attire. The energetic procession was accompanied by drumming, singing, and chants of "Nigeria, we stand!" and "One nation, under God!".
