NSChE BUK Inspiring the Next Generation!
In the wise words of Ernie Fletcher, Education is our greatest opportunity to give an irrevocable gift to the next generation.
As part of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) BUK Chapter's great strides towards awareness creation and impact creation, we visited Bayero University Staff School during the . During the visit on 8th February, 2024, we delivered inspiring talks such as:
• Chemical Engineering: Nature and Prospects
• Building Blocks for Exam Success (JAMB, WASSCE etc.)
These were presented after an introductory speech by the President on the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers. Meanwhile, our fellow comrades in the entourage also spiced up the program with engaging shows of camaraderie while the presentations were accompanied by visual graphics.
BUK Staff School students were wowed by the versatile and highly accomplishing field of Chemical Engineering. The sessions were very interactive, and active participants who answered the presenters' questions were showered with prizes. Plus, there were refreshments for the general attendees!
The students, staff and even we, the presenters, all wished the program could go on and on. At the end of it all, we were sent forth with profuse thanks and cheers from the students as well as great bubbles of joy and fulfillment.
Certainly, we engaged, inspired and ignited passions that day. We look forward to the synthesis of great innovations from these young minds!
Our utmost appreciation goes to the Management of BUK Staff School for their warm welcome, and to out patrons such as Engr. Amir Bako Ibrahim as well as our able HOD Omar Umar Ahmed for their support and encouragement.

NSChE Week 2024: Towards Transformative Career Development
