He urged members of the College community and the wider society to refrain from insulting or disparaging past leaders, elders and predecessors, warning that respect and responsible conduct are essential for maintaining peace and avoiding social discord.

The Acting Provost reaffirmed the College’s commitment to its founding mission and principles, stating that the College of Islamic and Legal Studies remains firmly committed to promoting Islamic teachings and values. The speakers encouraged Muslims, especially students and young people, to study the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and apply his exemplary character in their daily lives.

The Maulud celebration concluded with renewed emphasis on religious enlightenment, peaceful coexistence, moral discipline and the need for members of the Muslim Ummah to remain united while upholding the authentic teachings and values of Islam.
