It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our proprietor. On behalf of the staff and the entire school community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family.

We pray sincerely for the repose of his soul and for comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time.

Due to the loss, we will be closing the school for ten (10) days as a mark of respect.

School Organizational Structure and Duties

1. Head Teacher

Overall leader of the school.

Responsible for academic excellence, discipline, and smooth running of the institution.

Oversees staff performance, pupils’ welfare, and ensures adherence to curriculum and policies.

Represents the school in external matters.

2. Deputy Head

Assists the Head Teacher in daily management.

Supervises teachers, ensures lessons are well delivered, and maintains discipline among pupils.

Acts as Head Teacher in their absence.

3. Administration

Handles school records, admissions, timetables, correspondence, and documentation.

Ensures proper communication between staff, parents, and external bodies.

Keeps financial and resource records.

4. Department Heads

Lead specific subject departments (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English).

Support teachers within their department, organize schemes of work, and monitor teaching standards.

Ensure subject resources are available and effectively used.

5. Teachers

Deliver lessons according to the curriculum.

Manage classrooms, assess pupils’ work, and support their learning progress.

Instill discipline, values, and motivation in learners.

6. Admin Staff

Provide clerical and secretarial support.

Manage files, records, communication, and school accounts.

Assist in organizing school events and logistics.

7. Support Staff

Provide non-teaching assistance like library services, ICT support, laboratory assistants, and health officers.

Help create a conducive learning environment.

8. Security

Protects the school premises and ensures safety of staff, pupils, and property.

Controls entry and exit points.

Monitors movements during and after school hours.

9. Cleaner

Maintains hygiene in classrooms, offices, staffrooms, and toilets.

Ensures a neat, tidy, and safe environment for teaching and learning.

Supports the school in presenting a welcoming atmosphere.

As we conclude the 2024/2025 academic session, we express our deepest gratitude for your continued support and cooperation. The Director of our school, though absent due to a personal bereavement (the passing of her husband), extends her heartfelt goodwill message to all students, parents, and staff. May Allah grant her strength and patience during this difficult time, as guided by Islamic teachings.

To our final year students who sat for the NECO (SSCE) exams and JSS 3 students, we wish you the best in your future endeavors. Your hard work and dedication have been remarkable, and we are proud of your achievements. To all teaching and non-teaching staff (From both sections i.e Primary and Secondary), we appreciate your tireless efforts in ensuring the success and progress of the school, even in the Director's absence. Your commitment to excellence is truly commendable.

- School Fees: Please ensure all outstanding fees are settled before the resumption date.

- Academics: We encourage students to maintain a consistent academic routine during the break/holiday.

- Dress Code: Students are expected to adhere to the school's dress code policy upon resumption.

Dear all,

This is to honor and bid farewell to one of our most cherished and respected teachers (Aunty Mrs Hassan), who is voluntarily resigning due to age and certain health challenges. This moment is bittersweet for all of us, as we reflect on the immense contributions she has made to our school (Danyalo) over the years.

Aunty Mrs Hassan has been a beacon of knowledge, dedication, and unwavering commitment since she first joined the prestigious Danyalo. As a pioneer teacher, she played a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our school, guiding countless pupils/students with her wisdom and nurturing their growth with her compassion. Her influence has extended far beyond the classroom, touching the life of every pupil/student she has encountered positively.

Moreover, Aunty Mrs Hassan has served as the General Examinations Officer for both our primary and secondary sections, a role she has fulfilled with unparalleled diligence and integrity. Her meticulous attention to detail and her steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest standards have ensured the smooth and fair administration of examinations, earning her the respect and admiration of pupils/students and colleagues alike.

It is difficult to put into words the void that will be left by her departure. Her presence has been a source of inspiration and strength for the entire school community. We will miss her wisdom, her guidance. But most of all, we will miss the kindness and humanity she brought to our school (The Danyalo) every day.

As we bid farewell, we offer a special prayer for Aunty Mrs Hassan. May she find peace, comfort, and strength as she navigates this new chapter of her life. We pray for her health and well-being, and we ask for blessings of Almighty Allah upon her as she moves forward.

We also extend our heartfelt Best wishes. May her days be filled with joy and fulfillment. We hope she takes with her the fond memories of her time here (in Danyalo), knowing that she has left an indelible mark on our hearts and our school at large.
