3)listening of the programs or speech from it's source for having listening skill.
4)practicing of what you learned to acquire communication skills and ideological differences.
5)get expert person to talk with so as to correct your common mistakes for you to be shaped and learn accurate English

The word gerund is a word that ending in (ing) as noun unlike present continue tense or present participle as a verb
Eg
1)I preferred traveling alone.
here traveling is a noun not verb called gerund
2)I love dancing.
Dancing is also gerund as a noun coz it ended in ing
3)calling names is necessary before commencement of the lesson.
Calling is gerund as a noun not verb
