Happy teachers day

25/07/2025

When you truly trust Allah, even a closed door feels like a blessing.
You stop seeing rejection — you start seeing redirection.
You remember: “Perhaps you dislike something while it is good for you.” (Qur’an 2:216)

Strong tawakkul doesn’t mean life always goes your way.
It means your heart stays calm when it doesn’t.
Because you trust the delay.
You trust the detour.
You trust the “no” — knowing it came from the One who sees what you can’t.

So when a door closes, whisper Alhamdulillah.
Maybe Allah just protected you from something your heart wasn’t ready to understand. 🤍

🌙 Ramadan Day 6: The Beauty of Tolerance in Islam 🤝

Tolerance is a noble trait that strengthens unity, fosters love, and brings peace to our hearts. As Muslims, we are encouraged to be patient, forgiving, and kind, even in the face of differences. Allah commands us in the Qur'an:

📖 "And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity will become as though he was a devoted friend."
— Surah Fussilat (41:34)

The Prophet ﷺ also emphasized tolerance and gentleness, saying:

🕋 "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger."
— (Sahih al-Bukhari, 6114)

In this blessed month of Ramadan, let’s embrace tolerance by:
💛 Overlooking the faults of others
🤲 Seeking peace instead of conflict
🗣️ Speaking with kindness and patience
❤️ Forgiving, just as we seek Allah’s forgiveness

May Allah fill our hearts with patience and understanding, and may our tolerance be a means of attaining His mercy. Ameen. 🤍🌿

🌙 Ramadan Day One 🌙

"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous."
📖 [Qur’an 2:183]

The blessed month of Ramadan is here, a time to purify the heart, seek forgiveness, and draw closer to Allah. May this Ramadan bring peace, healing, and blessings to Nigeria and the entire Ummah.

🕌 Hadith: The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven."
📜 (Bukhari & Muslim)

✨ Quote for Reflection:
"Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink; it is a journey of self-discipline, patience, and spiritual growth."

🤲 Ya Allah, ease the struggles of Nigerians, grant us peace, and fill our hearts with light in this holy month. Ameen.

🌟 Ramadan Mubarak! May your fasts and prayers be accepted. 🌟

The presence of fathers in the lives of their children has profound and lasting effects on their emotional, psychological, and social development. Fathers provide unique contributions to their children’s upbringing, complementing the role of other caregivers. Here’s a breakdown of the effects:

1. Emotional and Psychological Well-being
 • Improved Self-Esteem: Children with involved fathers are more likely to have higher self-confidence and feel secure in their abilities.
 • Reduced Risk of Behavioral Issues: Fatherly presence is linked to lower rates of aggression, anxiety, and depression in children.
 • Better Coping Mechanisms: Fathers who provide support and guidance help children manage stress and challenges more effectively.

2. Cognitive and Academic Development
 • Higher Academic Performance: Children with active fathers often perform better in school, showing improved problem-solving skills and cognitive abilities.
 • Enhanced Language Development: Fathers tend to engage in different types of conversations that expand children’s vocabulary and critical thinking.
 • Encouragement of Curiosity: Fathers often encourage exploration and risk-taking, fostering creativity and resilience.

3. Social Development
 • Healthier Relationships: Children with present fathers learn healthy relationship dynamics, which can lead to better friendships and romantic relationships in adulthood.
 • Better Social Skills: Fathers often model respect, empathy, and teamwork, helping children develop these traits in their interactions.

4. Role Modeling and Identity
 • Strong Sense of Identity: Fathers provide a role model for their children, influencing their values, work ethic, and self-image.
 • Positive Masculinity: For sons, a father’s presence helps shape a healthy understanding of masculinity. For daughters, it reinforces self-worth and the expectation of respect from others.

5. Reduced Risk of Negative Outcomes
 • Lower Risk of Substance Abuse: Children with engaged fathers are less likely to engage in drug or alcohol use.
 • Decreased Likelihood of Criminal Behavior: A father’s involvement reduces the likelihood of delinquency, particularly in boys.
 • Better Physical Health: Fathers often encourage physical activities and healthy habits, leading to better overall health.

6. Emotional Support for Mothers
 • Balanced Parenting: A father’s presence can alleviate some of the burdens on mothers, leading to a more harmonious household.
 • Shared Responsibility: This fosters teamwork and cooperation in co-parenting, creating a stable environment for children.

Challenges of Absence

The absence of a father can lead to feelings of abandonment, lower self-esteem, and increased risk of negative behaviors. However, it’s essential to note that other positive role models can mitigate these effects in father-absent households.
