We converge again this weekend as we hear the Lord asking us to again lift up our eyes and see the fields ripe for harvest (Jn 4:35). We shall be lifting our eyes first in the place of prayer trusting that God will enlarge our vision and thrust us forth with precision and authority. God said to Abram in Gen 13:, as far as your eyes can see, northward, southward, eastward and westward I have given you the land for a possession. His success or failure depended on his willingness and ability to lift up his eyes. He responded correctly and obtained the promise. We also must trust God to respond correctly.
