Laylatul Qadr, the "Night of Power" or "Night of Decree," is the holiest night in Islam, commemorating when the Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad. Occurring during the last ten nights of Ramadan (often the 27th), this night is better than 1,000 months of worship. Muslims spend this time in prayer, reciting the Quran, and seeking forgiveness.
