SBMC of Government Science Secondary School, Danbushiya Pays Courtesy Visit to KADSSEB

The School-Based Management Committee (SBMC) of Government Science Secondary School, Danbushiya, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Senior Secondary School Education Board (KADSSEB) to engage the Board on issues relating to the development and effective administration of the school.

The delegation was received by the Executive Chairman of KADSSEB, Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, mni, alongside the Permanent Member, Projects; the Board Secretary; the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman; and other members of the Board.

Led by the SBMC Chairman, the delegation included the PTA Chairman, the Sarki Danbushiya, and other community stakeholders, who presented issues affecting the school and sought the Board's support and intervention.

In her remarks, the Executive Chairman commended the SBMC, PTA, and the Danbushiya community for their commitment and active involvement in the affairs of the school. She noted that their proactive engagement with the Board demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and shared responsibility for the education of their children.

She encouraged other School-Based Management Committees and communities across the state to emulate this example, emphasizing that the development of public schools is a shared responsibility. While government remains committed to providing leadership, policy direction, and resources, sustainable progress is best achieved when parents, traditional institutions, community leaders, and other stakeholders actively support and partner with schools.

The Executive Chairman further assured the delegation of the Board's continued support within its mandate and reaffirmed KADSSEB's commitment to working with all stakeholders to improve learning outcomes and strengthen senior secondary education across Kaduna State, in line with the education agenda of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State.

KADSSEB Executive Chairman Attends Speech and Prize Giving Day at Government Secondary School, Pambeguwa

The Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Senior Secondary School Education Board (KADSSEB), Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, PhD, mni, attended the Speech and Prize Giving Day of Government Secondary School, Pambeguwa, where students were celebrated for their academic achievements and outstanding performance.

The event was attended by the representative of the Honourable Commissioner for Education, the Principal of the school, the District Head, the Village Heads, the Chairman of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), members of the KADSSEB management, parents, community leaders, and other distinguished guests.

In her remarks, Dr. Suwaiba congratulated the graduands and urged them to remain focused as they transition to the next phase of their lives. She encouraged them to embrace lifelong learning by acquiring digital and entrepreneurial skills while upholding integrity, discipline, and hard work.

The Executive Chairman also commended the District Head, the Village Head, the SBMC, parents, teachers, and the entire community for their unwavering support to the school, noting that quality education is a shared responsibility that thrives through the collective efforts of government, families, traditional institutions, communities, and other stakeholders.

She reaffirmed KADSSEB's commitment to strengthening senior secondary education across Kaduna State through effective teacher management and development, improved school administration, digital innovation, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning. She also acknowledged the unwavering commitment of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, to transforming the education sector through sustained investments in school infrastructure, teacher welfare, and the planned recruitment of additional qualified teachers.

The event also featured the presentation of prizes to outstanding students and teachers in recognition of excellence, dedication, and outstanding service.

ANCOPSS Pays Courtesy Visit to KADSSEB

The leadership of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Kaduna State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Senior Secondary School Education Board (KADSSEB) to brief the Board on the progress made in preparations for the forthcoming National ANCOPSS Conference, which will be hosted by the Kaduna State Chapter. The delegation also expressed appreciation to the Board for its continued support towards the development of secondary education in Kaduna State.

The Executive Chairman of KADSSEB, Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, mni, received the delegation alongside the Board Secretary, Barr. Tahir Ladan; Permanent Member, Human Resource and Teacher Development, Mr. Monday Tela; and the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Mallam Muazu Lawal Abdullahi.

In her remarks, Dr. Suwaiba commended ANCOPSS for its commitment to strengthening school leadership and assured the delegation of the Board's support towards the successful hosting of the conference. She stated that KADSSEB would continue to work closely with the Ministry of Education and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the event is a success.

KADSSEB Chairman Chairs Board and Management Meeting on KADSSEB Mobile App

Earlier today, Wednesday, 24th June 2026, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Senior Secondary School Education Board (KADSSEB), Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, mni, chaired a Board and Management meeting on the KADSSEB Mobile Application.

The meeting, which was attended by Permanent Members and the Management Team, reviewed the implementation of the application and its effective utilization by teachers across Kaduna State. During the session, the Director of Human Resources and Teachers Development, Ahmed Sani, demonstrated the process for downloading and accessing the application, as well as the procedures for uploading teachers' personal and professional records on the platform.

The session was highly interactive, with Permanent Members and members of the Management Team asking questions, making observations, and offering valuable suggestions aimed at improving the functionality and effectiveness of the application.

In her remarks, Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, mni, directed management to thoroughly review the application and identify any omissions, challenges, or additional features that could further enhance its functionality and user experience. She emphasized the need to ensure that the application remains simple, accessible, and responsive to the needs of teachers across the state.

The Chairman reaffirmed KADSSEB's commitment to leveraging technology to strengthen records management, improve communication, enhance service delivery, and promote the welfare of teachers throughout Kaduna State.

KADSSEB HOLDS STAKEHOLDER MEETING WITH RICHIFA COMMUNITY

The management of the Kaduna State Senior Secondary School Education Board (KADSSEB), led by the Executive Chairman, Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, mni, held a meeting with stakeholders from Richifa Community, Tudun Wada District, including community leaders, the school principal, and members of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC).

The meeting discussed the newly completed Digital Learning Centre at GGS Richifa and explored ways of strengthening collaboration among communities, development partners, and relevant government institutions to ensure the sustainability and effective utilization of educational interventions.
