Diversity Index:
The table provides various species of flies and their corresponding diversity Index values.
index: also known as Shannon-weaver or Shannon+Weiner index measures the diversity of a community by considering both abundance & evenness of specie. Higher values indicate greater diversity.
Index: focuses on the probability that two individuals randomly selected from a sample will belong to the same specie.
: reciprocal of Simpson index. It increases with diversity.
: measures how evenly individuals are distributed among the specie present. Values ranges from 0 to 1.
refers to the number of species present in a given sample.
Interpretation:
•Musca domestica has highest and diversity Index with a richness of 5 indicating a well represented and diverse sample
• Sarcophaga Africa: shows a a high value and evenness, meaning it is diverse but fairly evenly distributed .
•Chrysomya albiceps: though it has a moderate diversity Index, it has the highest evenness, meaning the specie is evenly spread in it's sample.
• Lucilia cuprina and Chrysomya putoria: have a lower and indexes suggesting they are less diverse in the sample.

Doing a degree like a PhD is more about persistence than pure intellect. You’re ever gonna be frustrated by some outcomes. You just have to keep going. Highly intelligent people without persistency hardly survive a PhD.~ Patrick Osatohanmwen

Markov Chain diagram is often used to model transitions between different states such as rankings or positions. ..
of the Plot:
(Top, Bottom, 2nd, 3rd): These ovals represent the different positions or rankings.
and Probabilities: the arrows show how likely it is to move from one State to another. The numbers next to the arrows are probabilities.
-loops: some arrows loop back to the same state eg top to top with probability 0.42. Meaning there is a certain chance you stay in the same position.
How to read it:
Assuming the each oval is a step in a game or process.,..if you are in step, you could:
•stay in "3rd" (28% chance)
•move to "2nd" (26% chance)
•move to "Top" (25% chance ) or
• move to "Bottom" ( a 26% chance)
idea:
The plots show how likely it is to move from one position to another over time. The arrows guide you on possible transitions and the numbers give the likelihood (probability) of making each move.
