A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an infection that affects any part of your urinary system — kidneys, ureters, bladder, or urethra. Most infections involve the lower urinary tract — the bladder and the urethra.

🚨 Common Symptoms of UTI:

Burning sensation while urinating

Frequent urge to urinate, even if little comes out

Cloudy or bloody urine

Strong-smelling urine

Pain in the lower abdomen or back

Fever or chills (a sign it may have reached the kidneys)

👥 Who is at Risk?

Women (more common due to shorter urethra)

People with diabetes

Those who don’t drink enough water

People who hold urine for long periods

Sexual activity without hygiene precautions

Drink plenty of water daily

Don’t hold urine for too long

Wipe from front to back after using the toilet

Urinate after s*x

Avoid using harsh soaps or sprays in ge***al areas

Appendix is a small pouch attached to the beginning of the large intestine,
The swelling of this pouch is called appendicitis.
And of course it is a common condition that call for emergency surgery.
It is commonly caused by infection which could be as a result of blockage of this pouch by hard stool, creating room for growth and multiplication of bacteria in the pouch, hence the need to prevent constipation or hard stools

This condition can occur in pregnant women too, Soo please prevention is better than CURE
