Welcome to the Teacher Development programme.

The development of this Teacher's Guide was made possible through the Teacher Development Programme (TDP). TDP is a UK Department for international Development (DFID) funded programme designed to support federal and state government in Nigeria to strengthen their teacher education programmes.
The main aim of the programme is to improve the Teaching skills of thousands of Teachers and improve leaning outcomes for millions of children in Northern Nigeria. As a primary school teacher your contribution is therefore key to achieving this goal.
