Pressure group:As the name indicates pressure groups are to put pressure on government,public and private organization to effect considered changes in workplaces and society,the intention is to make people happy in their work environments and in society.

Main pressure group in Nigeria include:Nigeria Lab our Congress (NLC),Trade Union Congress (TUC), Petroleum and Natural Gas,Senior Staff Association of Nigeria,PENGRASSAN,Nigeria Union of Teacher (NUT), Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).

Election are held periodically.political parties contest such elections and the party that has the greatest number of vote is elected into government.there is therefore,majority rule,other members elected from the other party or parties have their say in how the country should be ruled.

Democracy is one of the ways of governing a country.it is based on the idea that everyone in a country should have a say about how the country is run,but because it is not possible for everyone to be in Legislature,people choose other people to represent them in the legislature and to make decision for them.those people are choose during an election when people vote for those whom they believe can best represent them.

The executive arm of government uses the law enforcement agencies like the Police,EFCC,ICPC,NDLEA,NAFDAC,Civil Defences,SSS,Air Force,Navy,Army,the Prison Service to enforce the rule of law.

National Agency for Food and Drug
Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

this agency ensures that food and medicines take by the citizens are of high quality and safe sellers or importers of fake drugs and contaminated food are arrested and prosecuted in the law court.sometimes,seized fake drugs and poor quality food items are destroyed by the agency,the agency also certifies good products and gives them NAFDAC numbers as proof that they are good for use.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

EFCC enforces the law on financial crimes and economic sobotage,such crimes includes money laundering,foreign exchange offences,fraud and embezzlement.

the independent Corruption Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

it investigates cases of official corruption particularly by public officers,those who it finds culpable on misappropriation of public funds are brought before the law courts and punished.
