đź’” Little Ahmad Is Now an Orphan
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Little Ahmad has lost his beloved father, Muhammad Nasir Tukur. At such a tender age, he has suddenly become an orphan.
Only a few weeks ago, Ahmad’s father came to Al’amin Memorial School and spoke to us about his son with so much love and concern. His words still remain fresh in our hearts:
«“Please, whatever it takes, help me take care of this child. Let him continue with his Islamiyya and Tahfeez education. Whenever there is anything concerning him, please talk to me. Insha Allah, we will do our best.”»
Those words now carry a completely different meaning.
Just last week, before the school break, Muhammad Nasir Tukur called to ask about Ahmad’s school fees. We sent him the details, and he paid the fees.
A few days later, he called again. He told us that Ahmad needed a school uniform and pleaded with us to have it sewn for him. We immediately arranged for the uniform to be made.
Later that same week, he personally came to the school to pick up Ahmad. He asked about the uniform, and we explained that it was not yet ready. We assured him that once it was completed, we would give it to Ahmad.
Little did we know that this would be one of the last conversations we would ever have with him.
Shortly afterwards, we received the heartbreaking news that Ahmad's Father had been involved in an accident. He sustained a serious head injury and was taken for medical treatment. On Saturday, he underwent surgery to remove blood that had accumulated in his head due to internal bleeding.
We were deeply concerned and continued trying to find out about his condition.
Then came the devastating news:
Muhammad Nasir Tukur had passed away.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
The father who only days earlier had called us about his son's school fees...
The father who pleaded with us to make a uniform for his son...
The father who personally came to school to take his child home...
The father who asked us to please look after Ahmad and ensure that he continued his Islamiyya and Tahfeez education...
He is no longer here.
And little Ahmad is now without his father.
đź’” Ya Allah, this is truly painful.
We humbly appeal to everyone who comes across this message: please remember our brother, Muhammad Nasir Tukur, in your prayers.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings, pardon his sins, accept his good deeds, widen and illuminate his grave, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
🤲 Ya Allah, preserve little Ahmad.
Ya Allah, protect him and guide him throughout his life.
Ya Allah, make him grow up upon the Qur’an, Islam and righteousness.
Ya Allah, make Ahmad a source of Sadaqah Jariyah for his late father.
Ya Allah, grant his mother, family and loved ones patience, strength and comfort during this painful period.
As Al’amin Memorial School, we feel this loss deeply. Ahmad is not merely a pupil to us. He is a child whose father entrusted his education, upbringing and future to us.
We pray that Allah gives us the strength and wisdom to continue to honour that trust.
May Allah have mercy on Muhammad Nasir Tukur, preserve little Ahmad, and surround the entire family with His mercy and protection.
