*HOW TO BOOST THE BRAIN OF OUR CHILDREN TWO TIMES FASTER*

The *three basic functions* of the brain that should be improved in our kids to make them academically unbeatable are:

1. *Thinking*

Most children find it *difficult to think*. It may sound laughable, but it is *an established truth*. It is not that they don't want to think, it is that their brains don't have what it takes to stimulate that function called, "thinking". *No child passes a class without thinking.* One must think before solving or answering a question correctly.

No matter how good a teacher is, if the child's brain doesn't have all it takes to stimulate thinking, the child will always fail.

Hear me, when a child has low electrical brain conductivity _due to deficiency of potassium, manganese and some variety of vitamins,_ the brain will not be able to stimulate brain cells responsible for thinking.

In this case, children with such deficiency will have problems with thinking.
Their brains appear very blunt, rigid and empty despite the large hours of teaching.

This is not all about the teacher and teaching skill, it is all about the child and the brain. Such a child needs help!

2. *Concentration*:

Many children have concentration difficulty. This is the inability to pay the needed attention required to stimulate a proper understanding of what is being taught.

As a teacher, you must have met some children that prefer to do something else other than listening, focusing or paying attention when teaching is going on.

A situation that most teachers get sad and *raise a cane*. Hold on, please! Before you raise a cane, hear me out.

The more you try to make them pay attention using a cane, the more they're distracted and frightened.

If you try harder, they'll begin to cry yet distracted.

Such children may have *low amount* of the following brain chemicals:- *Serotonin, Norepinephrine and Dopamine*, which are responsible for concentration and coordination.

✍️ Yell or Lose Control: Losing composure can create a tense and hostile environment. Teachers should maintain a calm and authoritative presence.

✍️ Play Favourites: Showing favoritism can lead to resentment among students and damage class unity.

✍️Humiliate or Belittle Students: Publicly shaming students can hurt their confidence and self-esteem, which can harm their academic and emotional growth.

✍️ Fail to Set Clear Expectations: Not establishing clear rules and expectations can cause confusion and inconsistency, leading to behavior issues.

✍️ Overload Students with Homework: Excessive homework can lead to burnout and stress. Teachers should aim for a manageable workload.

✍️ Ignore Misbehavior: Failing to address disruptive behavior can encourage it to spread throughout the classroom, affecting the learning environment.

✍️ Disrespect Students' Opinions: Dismissing or mocking student input can discourage them from participating and expressing themselves in the future.

✍️ Be Inflexible: Sticking rigidly to a lesson plan or method without adapting to student needs or interests can limit the effectiveness of teaching. Flexibility is key for meeting diverse classroom dynamics.

✍️ Fail to Provide Positive Reinforcement: Neglecting to praise and reward students for their hard work can lead to a lack of motivation and poor morale.

✍️ Overlook Student Well-Being: Focusing solely on academics without considering students' emotional and physical needs can lead to disengagement or even stress and anxiety.

✍️ Be Unprepared: Coming to class without a well-thought-out lesson plan or the necessary materials can result in disorganization and frustration for both the teacher and the students.

✍️ Be Disorganized: A lack of organization can lead to confusion, missed deadlines, and students feeling lost in the learning process.

✍️ Ignore Classroom Safety: Failing to establish and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment can lead to bullying, accidents, or emotional harm to students. Teachers should prioritize a space where all students feel secured

Dear Parent, Let’s Talk.

Not every child will be a doctor.
Not every child will love maths.
Not every child will shine in class.
But every child carries something God put inside them.

Some children are quiet, but they observe deeply.
Some are always singing, drawing, or fixing things.
Some are natural leaders—even if they can’t sit still in class.
Every child has a spark. Your job is to notice it early.

Stop comparing your child to others.
Your neighbour’s child is not your standard.
Your child is not a mistake—they are a message.
They came with an assignment only they can fulfil.

Have you prayed for your children this morning?
Did you mention them by name?
Each one has a different calling, a different struggle, and a different need.
One may need boldness.
Another may need peace.
Another may need direction.

Your prayers are not small—they are spiritual investments.

So look again.
Watch closely.
Listen without judging.
Guide them gently.

One day that small gift you noticed will become a global solution.

WHAT TEACHERS NEED TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE TEACHING PROFESSION.

Teaching is not what you do because you do not have a choice, teaching is not what you do because you're jobless, teaching is not what you do because you're being paid, rather teaching is what you do with passion, zeal, affection, and love because you are impacting souls, you're touching lives and you're building a generation.

What new strategy do you plan to adopt as a classroom teacher?

1) Accessibility: As a class teacher, being accessible to your students gives you insight into what is happening around them.

2) Student-Teacher Interaction/ Engagement - As a class teacher, you should engage your students often. Let them know the importance of teachers to students.

3) Mentee-Mentor - Teachers are examples to the pupils, as a teacher lot of people are looking up to you. You can be a role model

4) Teaching Method - The teaching method is one of the most important aspects of teaching. As a teacher, you have to study your class, the present mood of the class, and how to make use of teaching methods that are suitable for the moment. You've to diversify while using teaching methods in other to be productive.

5) Productivity - Your slogan for the new term should be productivity. Being productive means there's progress.

6) Problem-Solver - Don't complain much about problems, think ahead, and be a problem solver. The world is revolving around solvers, not complainers.

7) Evaluation - assessment is the appraisal of what your students are capable of doing whether through written examination or an oral assessment.

Finally, take your health/well-being as a priority, don't joke with your health.
