11th August 2025 marks yet another milestone as the NIPSS Strategic Leadership Course on Sustainable Cities and Communities commenced in grand style. This year’s edition brought together vibrant and forward-thinking leaders from both the public and private sectors, representing diverse states and stations across the nation.

With a shared vision for education-driven growth and the sustainable development of their organizations and communities, participants engaged in rich networking, peer learning, and strategic discourse.

In its well-established tradition, the Conference for Africa Studies once again partnered with NIPSS to create a dynamic platform where ideas, innovations, and strategies converged in the spirit of advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together, they continue to foster actionable pathways for inclusive growth, resilient cities, and transformative community development across Africa.

This convergence is more than a learning exercise- it is a commitment to shaping the future, building smarter cities, and ensuring that development is sustainable, equitable, and impactful for generations to come.
