VACANCY: Experienced English Teacher Needed
We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join our dynamic team at CANAAN HIGH SCHOOL JOS, a reputable secondary school committed to academic excellence and holistic education.
Requirements:
A degree in English, Education, or a related field.
A valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, B.Ed, TRCN certification).
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to prepare students for national and international examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO, JAMB,IGCSE) is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Participate in school activities and contribute to the school's academic goals.
