The future of Physics belongs to the undergraduates. For they are the future lecturers, researchers, scientific policy makers, and so on. In the time past, it was mainly lecturers, master degree and Ph.D students that are actively involved in research. However, with the passage of time, the increasing number of research topics and the roles computers play in scientific research which makes scienti
fic inquiry less involved, undergraduates the world over are now much involved in research though not at advanced, cutting-edge, levels. The purpose of this page is to bring together undergraduate physics students in Nigeria universities who are interested in research, be it in theoretical or experimental area, in order to advance physics in the country, as well as share research information. We also aim to bring to the populace how knowledge of physics can be used to solve national development challenging problems and understanding of nature through appreciation of how the physical components of the environment influences events in nature. With time we hope to add a publication to be known as "Journal of Undergraduate Research Physicists". You are welcome.
