Jos Business School in consotium with nHub Nigeria are pleased to announce the successful take off of the FREE Digital Skills Training Program for 1000 young men and women incuding PLWDs, in Plateau State under the World Bank IDEAS Project. The selected trainees will undergo 10 weeks practical training in their selected in-demand Digital Skills that will equip them for emplyoment or self-employment namely:
1) Data Analysis
2) Digital Marketing
3) Networking
4) Cybersecurity
5 Web Design/Graphic Design
6) Programming
It is our desire that this effort will be one of the biggest injection of digital skills into the Plateau State economy and beyond .

📢 Important Update for Digital Gateway Trainees! 📢

Due to the upcoming Sallah Eidul Maulud holiday, the resumption date for the Digital Gateway training has been shifted to Tuesday, 24th September 2024 (previously scheduled for 16th September).

In the meantime, we're continuing with the documentation and onboarding process. All trainees must complete the following steps before the new start date:

1️⃣ Verification of trainees
2️⃣ Biometric thumbprint for attendance
3️⃣ Receiving your official ID card
4️⃣ Joining our official Discord channel for updates

We kicked off with an impactful Soft Skills Education session, ensuring our trainees are well-prepared for the journey ahead.

Today's session covered essential topics, including:

*Housekeeping and Training

*GuidelinesPersonal Effectiveness: Time and Priority Management

*Key Insights on Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

*WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Principles

*Discord and Grievance Mechanism Setup

These foundational skills are key to a successful and transformative experience.

The training continues tomorrow with the next batch of trainees at 9:00 AM prompt.
