Last week, we successfully held a physical dialogue session on the theme "Gender Justice" in commemoration of African Liberation Week 2025.
The event brought together vibrant youth from the communities of Gangare, Rikkos, Nasarawa, as well as students from University of Jos, Federal University Kashere, and Federal University of Technology Minna.
Our panelists explored the topic in depth, shedding light on the concept of gender justice from both African and European perspectives. They also engaged participants in meaningful conversations about the significance of African Liberation Week 2025.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Africans Rising for their guidance and support. Special thanks also go to Professor Ahmed Sabo, Iliyasu Kasimu, Isa Emmanuel Garba, Mustapha Almustapha, Patience Nandom and Rabilu Muhammad, along with all attendees and dedicated Peace Club members whose contributions made the event a success.
We remain committed and are already working hard to expand next yearβs program to reach even more communities.

Happy International Women's Day! ππΈ
On this special day, let us celebrate the strength, resilience, and creativity of women around the world. From the feminists who break down barriers to the women who paint soft, subtle paintings, each one contributes to the rich tapestry of our society.
Remember, there is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish. Let us continue to support, uplift, and celebrate each other. Together, we can create a better future for all. πͺπ

The monthly Association for Peace Building and Leadership Training outing discussion meeting took place at Jos Museum, the meeting centered on leadership and conflict management.
Ambassador Aliyu Alkasim, a Northeast Director of Foundation For Peace Professionals a good friend and a brother led the discussion, despite a lower turnout of club members on this Sunday due to various reasons.
The facilitator highlighted that a true leader is someone others willingly follow, regardless of titles or positions.
To become a leader people voluntarily follow, one should keep certain words in mind consistently. The participants delved into the discussion, providing insightful definitions and numerous examples. Ambassador Aliyu also addressed conflict management within groups, sharing instances of group conflicts, answering questions, and contributing actively.
