PUBLIC NOTICE TO PARENTS, STUDENTS, STAFF AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC
Dear Parents, Guardians, Students and Staff In view of the recent security developments within Plateau State, the State Government has issued a directive for all schools to temporarily close as a precautionary measure. As a responsible institution, we fully align with this directive in order to safeguard the lives of our students and staff.Earlier today, 25th November 2025, the school management was part of a security meeting convened by the appropriate authorities, at the Government house in Jos where critical issues were discussed regarding the current situation. We wish to reassure our parents and students that the government and security agencies are actively working to ensure the safety and well being of our students.
We encourage everyone to remain calm and vigilant during this period. The situation is being closely monitored, and once clearance is given, we will promptly communicate the official date for reopening.
Your cooperation and understanding are deeply appreciated.

The management of Sheikh Ali Dikam Memorial Academy, Mangu, wishes to formally notify all staff, students, and the general school community that this year’s Learning & Talent festival Week has been scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: 24-28/11/2025
Venue: School Premises
Theme: "Talent, Team Work and Transformation"

The Learning & Talent Festival Week is a week-long programme designed to promote academic excellence, talent discovery, teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition among students.
Activities for the week shall include:

Inter-House Debate
Quiz Competition
Essay Writing
Spelling Bee
Cooking & Eating Competition
Sports and Games
Other approved activities

All students are expected to participate fully, while staff members are requested to give the necessary support to ensure a successful event.

This is to officially inform you that Sheikh Ali Dikam Memorial Academy, Mangu will resume for the new academic session on Monday, 15th September, 2025. All students are expected to be punctual and prepared for academic activities.
We are also pleased to announce that a new school uniform has been introduced for the new intake this session, as part of our commitment to maintaining discipline, neatness, and a modern outlook. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to ensure that their wards are provided with the approved school uniform before resumption.
