From outstanding UTME performances to exceptional achievements in CISCO IT Essentials and ACT/SAT examinations, our students have once again demonstrated what is possible when excellence becomes a way of life.

Once again, Haven of Hope Academy has proven that excellence is not just a goal; it is our culture.
Our students have returned from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with outstanding scores well over 220 to over 330! This is not just success — this is excellence on display.

To the state: Take note! This is how it’s done. We are not just spectators; we are leading the pack and setting standards for secondary school education in Nigeria and across the globe. 🌍📚

Behind these achievements are years of hard work, sleepless nights, mentorship, discipline, prayers, and determination. From preschool to graduation, every stage of the journey has produced something truly remarkable.

And the victories didn’t stop there!

Students who sat for the CISCO IT Essentials and ACT/SAT examinations also recorded exceptional performances, achieving scores as high as 96.90% and 82.6% respectively. 💻🎉

To celebrate these incredible accomplishments, the entire school community came together for a beautiful red-carpet celebration filled with smiles, laughter, gratitude, and pride. Teachers, parents, management, support staff, and students all shared in the joy of seeing hard work rewarded.

Happy children's day to every pupil/student of the Haven of Hope Academy and to every child out there. As we celebrate our children, the senior Prefect of HHA High School has a powerful message for every HHA child.

To the pupils/students of Haven of Hope Academy,
Children’s day isn’t just another public holiday; it’s a day entirely about us. A reminder of our joys and laughter as children born to amazing parents. It is a reminder of how much potential we have deep within us.
Within the walls of our institution we matter more than we know.
Everyday, I see your hard work and dedication, your laughter and mischief, bringing this academy to life. We truly are the ‘hope’ our school is nurturing.
On this day, I hope you laugh and play with these three reminders brewing in your heart:
1. No dream is too big. Your imagination knows no limits so don’t let your dreams have limits. You are stars in the sky. You are meant to shine.
2. The people you have today by your side should be cherished. You should remember to grow and support one another through the journey you are embarking on. Celebrate your differences and your friendship and look out for one another.

📚 Learning Beyond the Classroom

Not every school struggle comes from books or academics. Sometimes, the real challenge is your child knowing what to accept, what to reject, and how to protect himself or herself.

📌 1. I will not compromise my values.
Wrong is still wrong, even when everyone around me says it is normal. I will choose integrity, I will choose discipline, and I will stand for what is right.

📌 2. I will not lose myself trying to belong.
Acceptance should never cost me my identity. I do not need to pretend or change who I am to fit in. Real friends will value the real me.

📌 3. I will not remain where I am constantly disrespected.
Mockery is not friendship. Bullying is not fun. I deserve to be treated with dignity. I will speak up or remove myself.

📌 4. I will be intentional about the people around me because my character matters.
Behavior matters. Not everyone should have close access to my life. I choose my friends carefully. I will be careful with my personal information, as trust must be earned.

📌 5. I will not follow people blindly.
I have my own mind. I can think independently. I will not join harmful behaviors simply because others are involved.

📌 6. I will manage my priorities properly.
There is a time to relax and a time to focus. I will not allow distractions to deter me from being purposeful.

📌 7. I will be confident enough to say no.
No to pressure. No to unhealthy choices. No to cheating. No to anything that threatens my peace or future. My boundaries matter.

📌 8. I will leave unsafe environments immediately.
I do not have to stay where I feel threatened or uncomfortable. Walking away is wisdom. Seeking help is strength.

📌 9. I will not keep silent about serious issues.
I will not hide pain, fear, or abuse. I will reach out to trusted adults because my safety is important.

Healthy boundaries are not pride or disrespect. They are wisdom, self-respect, and protection.
