Today, we celebrate the last but not the least rising star, Kumswa Hadassah Nanbyen.

A loving girl who arrived with determination to strive for excellence. She is very caring and subsequently approach the administrative desk just to know how her parents are fairing.

Hadassah won't let you go until she asks all the questions she has for you. A description of the strength of water that flows quietly but can uproot iroko tree, Hadassah's intelligence is not loud but strong and indelible. The best of the best she is, just give her space and you will see wonders. Hadassah cries when she sees a "B" in her result, she does not joke with any form of laziness towards her study.

As the last girl of the family, she enjoys the care of her parents and siblings as her requests to bring this or thst is inexhaustible, trust last born.

When you mention Kumswa Hadassah in Founders High School, Jos. These come to mind, Excellence, Discipline, Leadership Softness, Skilfulness and of course Fashion.
Every girl wants her to make their hair and when she oblige, her signature is undeniable.

Tears are very close to her eyes, she is very compassionate and loving. Her face, her records, her laurels, her consistency in excellence and good reputation will be greayly missed.

Meet this wonderful star, the last born of the Dung's dynasty, Mafeng Dung.

A very cheerful, jovial and truthful boy. Mafeng receives corrections with all humility and joy, you can see that he is ready to learn and improve. A son of the soil, the best dancer among the set members. Mafeng does not beg to play football, he wants to you to play music for him to dance. He automatically became the dance coach of the school, his leg works are not from this planet.

Mafeng looks forward to dance with the Managing Director of the school who is also a dancer, we call our MD, the Gen Z Papa. You can't beat him in dance, you will just be startled at how he moves and takes over the stage. Those moments are very dear to us after we have worked tirelessly and ready to relax together. Mafeng wants a moment with this great man during the set's evening banquet. Permission granted.

Founders High School, Jos will miss this great boy who travelled all the way from Nassarawa State to learn and be transformed. He has not travelled home since he started his WASSCE Nov/Dec. 2025, UTME 2026, WASSCE, May/June, 2026 and NECOSSCE June/July, 2026. A very brave, kind and understanding boy who knew why he must not be distracted by anything to achieve his big dream.

Here he is, he dropped the pen yesterday, having seated in the examination hall for this long. Now, he is ready to enjoy the vibes from send off to evening banquet to Graduation Ceremony and finally take his journey to greater heights.

Just like his nick name, Cruise, this great boy is ready to cruise now, believing that "all work without play, makes Mafeng a dull boy". His vibes will be greatly missed by the school community.

Let's celebrate a cool star, Ponshak Ritkenen Goodness.

A very calm first child, he will rather smile than speak much words. He came into the school in his penultimate year and blended so well with his classmates.

An interaction with him on arrival gave a clue that he needed to be taken through extra classes to catch up as we engage in "Block Teaching" method of subjects coverage. At Founders High School, Jos, rather than compartmentalized topics, we deal with any choosen topic straight on, and go through past questions from 1978 till date. Thereby, not waiting till during revision before treating past questions.

Goodness realized he was far behind and that almost discouraged him but no. We saw great synergy between him and classmates, they were willing to take this new student through. Alas! he pulled through, making all his papers even before setting to write his 2026 Examinations.

A determined boy here who has finally understood that "time waits for no one". Goodness embraced his new school community and believed that he will enjoy the best of excellence in this citadel. Today, alas! his journey has become an unforgettable story as he always say "Thank God I was here".

We appreciate his due diligence and we are going to miss a boy well groomed, loving, neatly packaged, organized, morally sound and loving to all.

You became a Founder just within months of your arrival and you gave the journey a worthy committment.

Let's celebrate another amazing star, Erhazele Franklyn Odianose. A description of brilliance and great potentials, a leading male in the class.

Franklyn's journey has been that of "hitting the ground running". Quite brilliant but he was thriving just on his natural potential. A challenge and corporate pressure came mounting on him from all Educators that though good, but there is need to move through better to best. The journey began as he yielded to give the mandate a try, this paid off eventually as he almost hit the 300 mark in his UTME score, you can see on his face that he longed for the remaining remnants of scores.

A dogged boy we must say, he fought through in the midst of two leading girls in the class, he proved it through resilience, chasing consistently not to be left behind in the front runner race.

Odianose, we saw your diligence, hardwork and dedication. We saw how to rose to the challenge, you fought and you conquered, you won your prize and this is not the end of that journey, it's just the beginning.

You have imbibed great strength, you have learnt the way of the champions. Here, at Founders High School, Jos, you have caught the spirit of excellence that whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might.

We celebrate your journey, your victories, your laurels and your medals. Your face and your name in our honours list will forever be remembered. The face of a boy who led passionately and fought through to lead the legacy that no boy should be left behind in academic excellence.

Meet a cute rising star Tol Esther, a girl with a 360 degree turn around.

Esther, a courageous girl started her journey in sciences with curiosity to understand Chemistry, she asked if she could still be a medical doctor without having to study that subject which she couldn't just feel free with. That became a challenge everyone joined to solve.

The Chemistry Class moved into a digital classroom, every topic learnt from videos to class, back to videos. Ulesson app was installed on a tablet for her personal studies during free periods. She started learning Chemistry with Mnemonics, through animations, virtual laboratory experiences and gradually, she began to smile through this journey. Esther's single quest made digital presence fully at work in Founders High School, Jos with projector, flat screen TV relocated to Thomas Edison Laboratory. Her journey has become a novel aspired to write "Science without tears".

Esther smashed her WASSCE Nov/Dec. 2025 Chemistry Examination and was one of the top scorers in her UTME Chemistry. A testament of the fact that there are many learning styles every Educator must engage with to drive subject contents home.

Ever smiling, she rose from being timidly quiet to one who speaks up and sometimes on behalf of her class with confidence and articulation. Esther was one girl you could hardly hear when she speaks but now, you will wonder who just spoke after she is done. Her confidence is no longer from planet earth, she grew it through constant communication when the need arises.

A quiet strength she has, but could break down in tears when her threshold frequency is sometimes exceeded, a photo-electron streams of tears follow but after that, her toughness streamlined her foggy path and light shines at the end of her tunnel.

Today, we celebrate a girl who fought the toughness and abstract nature of Chemistry to a knee, a girl who shines brighter in her most challenging subject. She has learnt one thing at Founders High School, Jos, "Tough times never last but tough people do". This is her story and we wish her the best of the future facing every challenge she meets, as they turn to her diving board to greater heights.

Meet another rising and shining star, Ikande Tova Iyie'ohe, a very cool boy you can say.

Tova hardly speaks, so you may never say he was caught making noise. Whenever he seemed distracted during a class and you call his name, he gives you this baby smile 😃 knowing well that you got him.

Tova's coolness also reflected in his choice of subjects, aside the core subjects in sciences, he still picked soft subjects that do not require stressful experiences. Although his best subjects are Computer Studies, Data Processing and Digital Technologies. Little wonder, Tova wants to be an expert in Cyber Security and Digital related career path.

If you need clarification, guidance, troubleshooting or finding your way around internet use and researches, just make sure that Tova is well seated right beside you, you won't miss your way.

A lover of sports, his presence on the pitch is undeniable, he will follow his mates to plea for opportunity to play ball but he won't be the one talking, just an accomplice.

Tova's resilience is not what you can measure outwardly but his daily growth is what you'll see to know that something great is happening within.

Founders High School, Jos will miss this amazing personality whose love for digital growth is quite admirable. He believe his love and experiences were born out of the doggedness of the school right from inception that each child that passed through the school is well grounded digitally. Meet an amazing rising star, Bot Paula-Yong, the daughter of the soil. Her journey through Founders High School, Jos is truly inspiring.

The only learner who eventually changed her department to Arts after year one. Paula-Yong seemed frail on the outside but she is a very strong and determined girl right on the inside. She had so much to catch up within just months before she wrote her WASSCE Nov/Dec. 2025. From Chemistry to Literature in English, Physics to Government, she faced her challenge headlong, trusting God and every stakeholder around her for supports and alas! she covered through different methods. Watching videos of drama and documentaries, reading novels to prepare for poetry, drama and prose, she had so much on her laps but her first external result was nothing short of the miraculous.

With these, she became so confident as she faced her JAMB Examination preparations headlong, Paula-Yong smashed the dreaded JAMB with the goal of being a learned citizen of the country, Barrister Paula-Yong Bot sounds so sweet to her ears as she becomes the chosen lawyer to the rest of her classmates in the future. She sits alone in the examination hall on days she had to write her Arts subjects, her mates will quietly wait for her till she finishes each day. They took time to listen to her when she is revising loudly and learnt few things about the government from her.

Thankfully, Paula-Yong's Parents were so supportive when the clarion call to change department came from the school, not because she wasn't intelligent but because her career path took time to be discovered and as a school, we believe that delay is no denial. Without pressure and castigation, she was weaned through the process without loosing confidence and her self-esteem. Arts and Social Sciences are never for dull learners, they are chosen career paths for great achievers too.

Paula-Yong will forever be grateful to everyone who stood by her, especially her Arts and Language Educators who never gave up on her. Her journey through Mathematics and Further Mathematics was tough but worthwhile, she faced her fears and today she could bold say " I came, I saw and now I conquer".

A lover of literary arts, she sings, coordinates activities, dance very well and smiles all through her journey, even when going through difficult times. A beautiful girl, well built, audible and resilient. She says, she will never forget the hopes and aspirations she imbibed at Founders High School, Jos especially the balls she kicked and volleyball games she enjoyed through her stay.

Meet Abonyi Christiantus Chukwuebuka, an amazing and upcoming star in the field of Computer Engineering.

Chris is not very much with words but represents strength both inward and outward. Both learners and Educators want to see Chris on the field. He does not joke with any object called "Ball". Either to play with hands, basket, volley or foot, he is ready to steal the show like CR 7. When you hear a shot with so much sound, never doubt it, that is Chris. Even the ball testifies to his strength, "jabulani" African balls will like to meet him and be touched by his foot. Sometimes, the sports executives are careful with who the goalkeeper is at each event to prevent casualty from his shots.

Chris joined the school in his penultimate year and he has testified to the effectiveness of his supervision. He stepped out from distractions, influence, being lost in the crowd sometimes and loosing focus at some point. He needed a more quiet environment to settle down and harness his potentials. He is very comfortable with Mathematics and calculations, he writes with confidence without chewing the pen cover.

Chris's energy is not from this planet, he is the "Sylvester Stallone" of his set. He is ready to take up any task that requires energy dissipation and he does it effortlessly with smiles. When the set hear "who can move those objects out from there?". With no word or mentioning of names, they just turn and look at him where he quietly sits, he will smile, get up and do the task. Junior learners will miss this great and reliable boy who finds time to play balls with them.

Chris is our testimony at Founders High School, Jos that the type of environment around a child is significant to maximizing their potentials. When next you want to pick a school for your child, consider important factors that will help the child to be groomed, to grow both physically, emotionally and also spiritually. Chris was ready to step up with boldness and big growth in his new found environment, he was willing to adapt to the new system. Today both himself, parents, family and the school community are delighted that the decision taken to re-graft him was worth while.

Another rising star with calmness in every sense of it. Meet Uhiene Ramat Mercy, a girl raised with both strength and softness.

One thing that distinguished Mercy is her smiles, elegance and well built height, you can't say you didn't see this girl. She doesn't like too much pressure, she has a way of doing her things, "one step at a time". Mercy is caring and loving, she is one girl that loves sports, name any game, she is ahead. Running, cycling, javelin, shotput and discuss throws, football and Volleyball, when she steps in, other girls resolve to fate, why?, because she will surely win.

A very composed girl, detailed, neat, organized and brilliant, little wonder she wants to be a Nurse. Bravo, 👏 a well thoughtful career path. She is full of magic smiles and has a good fashion sense. Mercy wants to use her strenght and softness to care for the sick, she believes grace and hope can be infused in nursing the sick that beyond drugs and medical treatments, love can bring each patient back to their feet.

Mercy has chosen to step into medical path to make the difference, a choice nurse she wants to be by all patients. She wants to help change the narratives that not everyone that passed were actually meant to die, some due to negligence and strained care. This leader in the making hopes to make the difference.

At Founders High School, Jos, helping our learners to choose a career path is a process of intentionality not about emotions. Our partnership with Parents starts early, we have established together that the interest of a child should not only be considered but the ability and willingness to give the path what it requires. This among many has been our success story that no one among this graduating class is still uncertain about their lead in life. Celebrate this remarkable feat with us that more than wearing academic gown, cap, sashe and holding of scroll, this amazing learners have discovered the compass to their next level of journey while here with us.
