*The 40th Adamawa State Qur’an Recitation Competition will hold in Yola North the Capital City of the State on 31 October 2025*

The 40th edition of the Adamawa State Qur’an Recitation Competition is scheduled to take place in Yola, the capital city of Adamawa State, commencing on Friday, 31st October 2025.

This was officially confirmed by chairman Main organizing committee in person of Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa, Marafan Adamawa (Commissioner for LGA affairs), following consultations with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State; His Royal Highness, the Lamido of Adamawa; and the Chairman of Yola North Local Government Area.

The Competition is Scheduled as follows:

*Arrival*: Friday, 31st October 2025

*Opening Ceremony* : Saturday, 1st November 2025

*Venue for Male Recitation:* Fadfatis Hall, Yola

*Venue for Female Recitation:* FOWWAN Hall, Yola

*Departure of all LGA: Sunday* , 9th November 2025

The State Government, in collaboration with religious and community leaders, invites all stakeholders, scholars, and members of the public to actively participate in and support this noble exercise. The Qur’an Recitation Competition continues to serve as a platform for promoting spiritual enlightenment, moral discipline, unity, and cultural heritage across Adamawa State.
