Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Parents, Respected Colleagues, and Dear Students,
Good day and welcome to the commencement of our Career Week 2026 at [School Name].
We have gathered here today for a crucial purpose: to assist our children in discovering their purpose and preparing for their future.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, career guidance is no longer a luxury. Our students need to envision possibilities beyond the classroom. They need to understand that a doctor saves lives, an engineer builds nations, a teacher shapes minds, and an entrepreneur creates jobs.
Why Career Week?
1. To Inspire: By dressing in attire representative of their future careers, students begin to visualize themselves in those roles.
2. To Inform: Through talks and exhibitions, they will learn what each profession requires — the subjects to study, the skills to build, and the values to uphold.
3. To Motivate: We want every child to leave this week with a goal and a plan.
To our dear students: The attire you wear today is more than cloth. It is a promise to yourself. Whatever career you choose, pursue it with excellence, integrity, and service to humanity.
To our parents: Thank you for supporting this initiative. Your encouragement at home is what turns a child’s dream into reality. Please share your own career journey with your children.
As a school, we are committed to raising children who are not only academically sound but also purpose-driven and ready for the future.
I officially declare Career Week 2026 open.
May this week ignite the fire of ambition in every student, and may they all grow to become leaders and problem-solvers our nation will be proud of.
Thank you. God bless Vigas Oasis Academy, God bless our students and pupils, and God bless Nigeria.
