SAND PLAY & EARLY YEARS DEVELOPMENT
Sand play promotes a good physical development in early years.
Large muscles skills develop as children dig, pour, sift, scoop and clean up spills with brush and dustpan.
As they also take on roles associated with their dramatic play, they learn very important social skills such as empathy and perspective taking.

Sand play goes beyond that to also expand immaginative skills in children.
- It also helps in developing good emotional self expressions.
- It promotes good social interaction.
- Sand play also builds good attention / concentration span in children.
- It improves their cognitive skills and builds immunity in early years.
