SAND PLAY & EARLY YEARS DEVELOPMENT
Sand play promotes a good physical development in early years.
Large muscles skills develop as children dig, pour, sift, scoop and clean up spills with brush and dustpan.
As they also take on roles associated with their dramatic play, they learn very important social skills such as empathy and perspective taking.
