Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Institution’s Programmes for 2026/2027 Academic Session.

MODE OF ADMISSION

UTME Candidates
All prospective candidates must have taken the 2026 UTME Examination and obtained a minimum score of 150.
The minimum qualification for Degree programmes is five (5)O’Level Credit in relevant subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.

Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry prospective candidates must have obtained JAMB Direct Entry Form, five (5) relevant O’Level Credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings. Advance Level result (IJMB, JUBEP, National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit, Degree (relevant courses) from recognised Universities with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) and Cambridge Advance Level result. Inter-University Transfer admission into 200 Level is also available across all the Degree Programmes of the University.

www.mercymedicaluniversity.edu.ng to apply for admission through the University Admission Portal while candidates who did not choose Mercy Medical University/Mercy Medical College but willing to apply should visit JAMB Accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office to apply for Change of Institution and thereafter visit the university website to apply for admission.

MERCY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES NURSES WEEK 2026

The Faculty of Nursing Sciences at Mercy Medical University held its Annual Nurses Week Seminar, focusing on strengthening nursing excellence and patient outcomes.

Under the theme “The Role of Nurses in Quality Patient Care and Safety,” the event featured a high-level panel discussion on “Challenges and Future of Nursing in Nigeria.”

Dr. Mrs. Akinwale served as the distinguished guest speaker, delivering an insightful address that underscored the pivotal position of nurses as frontline caregivers and advocates for patient safety. While the panelists Dr. Mrs. Folami Roseline, Mrs. Ayoola Khadijat, and Dr. Mrs. Akinbade shared practical experiences, research findings, and forward-looking recommendations, engaging the audience in a robust question and answer session.

The event was attended by key university officials including Registrar Mr. Olalekan Adiat, Deputy Registrar Barrister Akindele Agbaje, College Secretary of Allied Health Sciences Mr. Dauda Tiamiyu, alongside lecturers and administrative staff.

The seminar underscored the university’s commitment to producing highly skilled nurses capable of delivering safe, quality healthcare in Nigeria.
