*_Comrade Folarin Adegboyega, Awal Led Administration (2015 - 2016)_*

Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal administration while in office as President of Imota Students’ Development Association (ISDA), now Imota Students Union operated a popular government that earned the students Union body a further recognition and acceptability viz-a-viz the programmemes executed during his tenure.

It was during his administration that the amended constitution of the association was approved and adopted and registration of the association with Imota LCDA was completed. He also introduced new programmemes like: Unity Scholarship for primary school pupils, organized Christmas children party in conjunction with Steadfast Love foundation, Free GCE Form Scholarship, Free JAMB Form Scholarship, Hon. N.S Solaja Essay Writing Competition, Free Tutorial programmeme sponsored by Hon. N.S Solaja, Introduction of ISDA WEEK which involve: Free Health Enlightenment Exercise, Mathematics Clinic for secondary school students, Free Skill Acquisition programmeme, Yoruba Essay and Quiz competition, etc.

Due to his popularity, Comrade Folarin's administration plays a frontier role in the formation of National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS-National), produced the first General Secretary of the association, Comrade Okedeyi Kehinde, first clerk and honourable members of NAIDS parliament. He established a cordial relationship with other Students Union bodies such as Igbogbo Students Union, Ijede Students Union, NAIDS-National. The administration went ahead to purchased an Hp LaserJet printer for the Union, provide assistance to students seeking admission into tertiary institutions, and the administration was the first to handed over the sum of N55,300 to her succeeding administration in the history of Imota Students' Union.

It is very important to recognize the immense efforts of the following comrades that served with Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal in the executive cabinet namely; Comrade Aberuagba Basirat as Vice President, Comrade Oshilaru Opeyemi as General Secretary, Late Salisu Aminat as Assistant General Secretary, Comrade Okedeyi Kehinde as Welfare Director, Comrade Michael Stephen as Financial Secretary, Comrade Olaniyi Temitope as Treasurer, Comrade Oyebanjo Akinola as Director of Studies, Comrade Anthony Adedamola as PRO I, and Comrade Aroture Mirae as PRO II.

Also, some of the active members whose are very noticeable during the administration include Comrade Shofowora Olumide, Comrade Okedeyi Olajumoke, Comrade Ifelowo Aderonke, Comrade Salisu Latifat, Comrade Owoyele Luqman, Comrade Banjo Ismail, Comrade Adekunle Inumimoh and many more.

Comrade Adano Micheal marked the 5th president of Imota Students Development Association (ISDA) now called Imota Students' Union (ISU)

His administration also ensured the continuity of all the inherent programmemes from previous administrations and introduced additional new programmemes likes: Award Presentation programmeme to best students in secondary schools, Quiz competition, Oba Ajibade Bakare Spelling Bee Competition in commemoration of his 20th anniversary on throne, etc.

Comrade Adano's administration set up a Constitutional Amendment Committee to review the constitution of the association and he handed over to Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal

*_Comrade Waliu Ogunlaru Led Administration (2009-2010)_*

In 2009,Prince Adetoyese Bakare handed over the baton of leadership to the administration led by Comrade Waliu Ogunlaru.

The Ogunlaru's administration ruled for a year, he ensures the continuity of all the inherent programmes from the previous administration and handed over the leadership to another administration led by Comrade Oyefolu Samson in 2011.

*_Comrade Samson Oyefolu Led Administration (2011 - 20012)_*

In 2011, Comr. Samson Oyefolu assumed the number one seat of Imota Students' Development Association, now called Imota Students' Union and became the first elected president of the Union.

Comrade Samson Oyefolu maintained the achievements of its predecessors; he injected new programmemes in furtherance of academic excellence amongst Imota students and also ensured that new members are integrated into the association.

Among the popular programmemes introduced are: Academic Seminar, Career Clinic, Spelling Bee Competition for primary school pupils, Free Tutorial for secondary School students, Courtesy Visitation, etc. During his tenure, the constitution of the association was approved and adopted.

It is very important to underscore the immense efforts of the following comrades that served with Comrade Samson Oyefolu in the executive cabinet namely; Oregunwa Adeyemi as Vice president ('11), Olaniyi Monisola as Vice president ('12), Folarin Adegboyega as General Secretary, Bamigbade Oluwatoni as Assistant General Secretary, Awotungase Yusuf as Treasurer, Awotungase Bolarinwa as Financial Secretary, Orenuga Opeyemi as Welfare Director, Jimoh Tomiwa as P.R.O I, Babasanya Adekunle as P.R.O II, and Ogunbowale Sunkanmi as Director of Studies.

Also, some of the active members whose contributions are very noticeable during the administration includes, Anjorin Taofik, Adisa Babatunde, Peter Ayodele, Comrade Monday, Tunde Tairu, Basirat Aberuagba, Oshilaru Opeyemi and many more.

*_Comrade Bakare Adetoyese Led Administration (2007 - 2008)_*

Comrade Bakare Adetoyese administration led the association for two years. His administration could be regarded as the tenure that transformed the association from passive to an active movement

The name of the association was change from Imota Students Library Researchers to Imota Students Development Association (ISDA) and different efforts were made towards advancing and achieving the association objectives.

The Comrade Bakare's administration was able to set up a Constitutional Drafting Committee to draft a new constitution for the association, and embarked on registration of the association with the Local Council.

He also introduced new programmemes like: Youth Educational Symposium (YES), Career Talk and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

However, it is imperative to underscore the efforts of the following comrades that worked with Comrade Bakare Adetoyese namely; Banjo Akolade, Lanre Agoro, Oyefolu Samson, Ogunfolabi Aderemi, Ogunlaru Waliu, Ogunlaru Idris, Jimoh Adeyemi, Folarin Adegboyega, Adisa Babatunde, Oregunwa Adeyemi, and many more.

The Comrade Anjorin Oluwasegun becomes the first elected president of the association. As year passes years, the association continue to widen its scope and the administration ensures new members are integrated and organized different competitions in order to promote the standard of education in Imota town.

Comrade Anjorin Oluwasegun ruled the association for two years before handing over leadership baton to another government led by Prince Bakare Adetoyese in 2006.

*_Comrade Ojikutu Gbenga Led Administration (2003 - 2005)_*

Ojikutu Gbenga is a visionary leader, a pathfinder, a progressivist and a respected educationist per excellent. He is the proprietor of one of the most populous and fast growing private schools in Imota Local Council Development Area. He birthed the Imota Student Library Researcher which through the efforts and collaboration of other young and vibrant intellectuals later metamorphosed to Imota Student Development Association, (ISDA) and later to the popular and widely recognized Imota Students’ Union, (ISU).
Prof. Ojikutu as he is fondly called is a lover of knowledge and a role model to good numbers of students and youths in his circle and even beyond.

He bagged Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from the then Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, (AOCOED), Otto, Ijanikin which is now Lagos Sate University of Education where he studied Physics Education. Presently, he is at the peak of obtaining a Bachelor of Science Education in Physics Education from the prestigious Lagos State University, Ojo Campus, Lagos, Nigeria.

At the formative stage of Imota Student Library Researcher, Comrade Ojikutu Gbenga led what was then described as interim government in a bid to manage the affairs of the organization. In those years, the major objective of the association was basically to work towards reviving the State of the community public library and fight for student rights and privileges.

The Comrade Ojikutu's administration was able to secure a temporary secretariat at Ojikutu House, Ajegunle, Imota for the association which was then used for meeting at every last Saturday of the month and also secured some text-books and scientific apparatus for experiments for the library and science students in the community.

Hon. Nurudeen Saka Solaja is a politician, a businessman, a chartered accountant, and a member of the 8th and 9th Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, where he held the position of Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts Committee.

He is an alumnus of Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos. He earned his postgraduate degree in Management Accounting from University of Calabar and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution.

He has worked with both private and public organizations which include Lagos State Local Government Revenue Board, Lagos State Unified Local Government Service Commission, Revenue Officer at Ikorodu Local Government, Internal Auditor at Ikorodu North LCDA, Council Treasurer at Kosofe Local Government, Council Treasurer at Lagos Island Local Government, Council Treasurer at Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Coordinator Accountancy Department (part-time) at Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu Annex, and a part-time lecturer Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho.

He also holds membership of many professional bodies which include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Cost and Management Accountancy (ICMA), Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN), and Fellow Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Throughout his tenure in office, Hon. Solaja was instrumental in the ex*****on of different programmes and projects of the union, and his positive impacts in the development of Imota LCDA can not be overemphasized.

Mr. Erota Samuel Babatunde, fondly called S.B is a retired Chief Medical Laboratory Technician from the Lagos State Health Management Board, and he is the Managing Director/CEO of Sambabs Medical Laboratory located in Imota, Lagos State, Nigeria.

He is a graduate of the Central Public Health Medical Laboratory, Yaba, Lagos where he bagged his Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate between 1991-1994; he also attended the Lagos State School of Health Technology, Yaba, Lagos for his National Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate between 1980 - 1983.

He had worked in the pathology department of different general hospitals in Lagos namely Ikorodu General Hospital, Gbagada General Hospital, Agbowa General Hospital, and Epe General Hospital.

As a devoted Christian, he had served as Church Warden of the St. John Anglican Church, lmota for several years and presently, he doubles as the Parish Church Secretary and Treasurer of lmota Archdeaconry.

Politically, he is the Zonal Chairman of the Sadeko Ajaguro Zone of Atere Ward (Ward A) of All Progressives Congress, Imota LCDA under the leadership of the Party Chairman, Hon. Ramoni Akinyemi and Mrs. Abosede Ogunyemi, Chairperson, Ward A respectively.

Since the beginning of ISDA Week in 2015 till date, he has been supporting the union with his medical experiences and materials during her annual Free Health Enlightenment programme where he was severally awarded.

Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson is a politician, an experienced senior boardroom executive, and a legal practitioner. He has a proven track record in public administration, and his career progression has taken him through both the private and public sectors of the nation’s economy.

Prior to his election into the Green Chamber of the House of Representatives, he was the Company Secretary/General Counsel at the Lagos State Development & Property Corporation (LSDPC) and was also a Non-Executive Director of Lekki Worldwide Investment Limited, Nigeria.

Between 2003 and 2004, he was the Deputy Manager (LEGAL) at Lead Bank PLC. Before then, he worked as legal counsel at Ecobank PLC. Hon. Babaiimi also worked as a Legal Officer (General Counsel Division) at the United Nations HQ, New York between 2000 and 2001. He also served as a legal officer in the law office of Babatunde Benson (SAN).

He holds an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from Warwick Business School (UK); LLM in Comparative International Business Law (Merit) from London Guildhall University; Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the Nigerian Law School and LLB Honours (Degree in Law) from Lagos State University. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

He has vast experience working collaboratively with senior executives to review performance, develop strategic plans and shape the overall future direction of government policies and actions.

He has been supporting the union with lots of other developmental projects for the benefit of the people of Imota LCDA.
