This is to inform all students of the
Polytechnic that registration for the
2017/2018 Academic has been
extended. Therefore, students are
expected to continue their
registration exercises until further
notice is given.
Hence, fresh students should
continue with their clearance
processing, school fees payment and
course registration on the portal
before the new closing date is
announced.
Returning students should also
continue their registration on the
portal.

HOW TO CHECK ADMISSION STATUS AND PAY ACCEPTANCE FEE

-Login to applicant area: https://kwarapolyportal.org/applogin.php

-Click on “Admission Status” on the left menu.

-Admission status is displayed along-side Student ID, Temporary Password and a link to login to student’s area.

-Login to the student area using the student id and the temporary password provided in the step above.

-On successful login, click on ‘make payment’ on the left menu then click on acceptance tab to make acceptance fee payment.

-After Acceptance fee is successfully paid, a link to print Admission Letter is displayed and the your students’ status is changed to “screening requested”.

-After screening committee has screened your credentials, an email is sent to your mail box to either proceed to payment of school fees if you passed screening or otherwise, instruction on what to do next.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Fill the applicant registration form that appears and ensure you provide a valid e-mail address as your username and password will be forwarded to the email address you provided.
Then click on the 'Get login credentials' button.
Goto your e-mail to retrieve your username and password.,
Use the username & password sent to you to login Here!
Click on the 'Edit Application' button to complete the remaining fields of the application form. Ensure you upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph cannot be changed once uploaded.
Click on the 'Save' button to save your application.
Ensure you chose the appropriate course or program you intend to study (You can consult the prospectus for guidance).
To pay for the application, click on 'Add online payment ticket' button at the bottom of the page. Then open the ticket so created and click on the 'College Pay' button at the top left corner of the page to effect your payment using any Interswitch enabled debit/ATM card.
Review the details of your application before clicking on the 'Submit' button.

SURCON DONATES THOUSANDS NAIRA EQUIPMENT TO KWARA POLY
In continuation of its efforts for the advancement of knowledge and skills among students of Tertiary Institutions across the country, Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) donated equipment worth thousands of Naira to Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. The equipment, according to SURCON is to expose Students to practical in their field of study. Receiving the Equipment in his office, the Head of Surveying and Geometrics Department, Surveyor Rotimi Olatunde Asonibare, noted that the donation was second in the series as it was donated once in 2009. Asonibare further disclosed that the “Electronic Theodolite “will be of immense benefit to the Students as it will expose to practical experience needed after graduation. He said the Equipment which is meant for knowing direction of lands will also assist the Staff in discharging their duties. Asonibare therefore, urged staff of the Department to grant the students access to the equipment so as not to jeopardize the aims and objectives of donating the equipment.
