IMMANUEL OSAYI ULINFUN: A WORTHY LEAP FROM BSc TO PhD

The Alumni Relations Unit, on behalf of the Governing Council and Management of Kwara State University wish to congratulate *Mr. Immanuel Osayi Ulinfun* , a worthy alumni, a veritable scholar and a distinguished ambassador of this noble institution on his attainment of this academic feat as a fully funded student in Aerospace Engineering in West Virginia University, United State of America.

Mr. Immanuel Osayi Ulinfun, who obtained a first class in Aeronautical and Astronomical Engineering in the 2023/2024 session was recruited by Dr. Piyush Mehta, the Director of the Centre for Innovation in Space Exploration and Research ( CISER ). He will join other researchers to work on Data-Driven Solutions for Space Weather Modelling and Forecasting. Immanuel, obviously did not get here on a platter, it was through dint of hard work and building upon the tortuous academic exercise he went through in the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in Kwara State University.

Dr. Mehta who was especially impressed by Immanuel’s depth of knowledge of the subject matter, his meticulousness, dexterity and ability to pay attention to details, could not but approved waivers of other university’s requirements to recruit him.
He was truly living the mantra of Kwasu, as contained in the lyrics of Kwasu anthem, “… explore the frontiers of knowledge”.

Please continue to be a worthy ambassador of Kwasu in West Virginia University, USA. Keep blazing the trail, hoisting the inimitable kwasu flag and helping us stamp our aspirational status as a world class university.
Immanuel is a first class graduate of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. He was the overall third best graduating student in the 2023/2024 academic session.

We wish him the very best in his noble academic endeavours.
