Creativity begins where instructions end.

Our children took a simple pair of cartoon eyes and transformed them into something entirely their own.

And we loved every single creation.

As the holidays draw to a close, our thoughts turn once again to the children who bring so much life, wonder, and joy to our classrooms.

We have missed their curious questions, their bright smiles, their growing confidence, and the unique energy they bring to each day.

At Birchwood, we believe that learning is more than lessons. It is discovery, friendship, creativity, growth, and the quiet moments that help children become confident, curious, and capable learners.

To our parents, thank you for the trust you continue to place in us. Your partnership, support, and belief in our shared vision mean so much to our school community.

We look forward to welcoming our Birchwood children back on Monday, 21st September 2026, and to beginning another beautiful term together.

Not every celebration needs a stage.

Today, our learners received their report cards, awards, and gifts as we marked the close of another memorable academic session.

While circumstances prevented us from holding our usual celebration, we were grateful for the opportunity to make our children feel seen, appreciated, and special.

We are incredibly proud of how far they have come, not only in academics, but in confidence, character, kindness, and curiosity.

To our wonderful parents, thank you for trusting us with your precious children. To our learners, thank you for filling our classrooms with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Have a beautiful holiday, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting session.

With love,

Birchwood Montessori Academy

Storytime is more than just fun. It’s an opportunity to teach valuable life lessons in a way young children can understand.
Today, our learners gathered for circle time as they listened to a story about safety, making wise choices, and the importance of talking to trusted adults.
Through stories, children learn not only to read and listen, but also to navigate the world with confidence and awareness.
