DAY ONE — TEACHERS’ PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR

Theme:

“The Teacher, the Student, the Parent and the Teaching Profession: Building Beyond the Classroom.”

Objectives

The seminar is designed to:

1. Improve teachers’ professionalism and commitment to excellence.
2. Strengthen teachers’ understanding of teaching ethics, discipline and professional responsibility.
3. Rekindle teachers’ passion for teaching and help them see teaching as a noble, life-transforming profession.
4. Promote positive teacher–student relationships that support learning and character development.
5. Strengthen teacher–parent relationships and encourage effective collaboration in the education of children.
6. Equip teachers to build beyond the classroom by influencing students’ character, confidence, creativity, discipline, leadership and global competence.
7. Develop teachers who do not merely teach children but intentionally build children into responsible, competent and globally relevant individuals.

Theme:

“A Stable Marriage, a Happy Home and a Healthy Mind: Building a Better Professional Life.”

Focus

The second day recognises that the wellbeing of the teacher extends beyond the school environment. A teacher who enjoys a healthy home environment is better positioned to function effectively, positively and professionally.

The session will explore:

- Building and sustaining a stable marriage.
- Effective communication between spouses.
- Understanding, patience and mutual respect in marriage.
- Managing family responsibilities alongside professional responsibilities.
- Creating a peaceful and happy home.
- Emotional and mental wellbeing.
- Managing stress, pressure and workplace challenges.
- Maintaining healthy boundaries between home and work.
- Building a positive mindset for effective professional performance.
- Supporting one another as couples and as professionals.

2025/2026 Academic Session — A Year We Will Never Forget
We thank God Almighty for bringing us safely to the successful end of the 2025/2026 academic session. Indeed, it was a session filled with unforgettable experiences, remarkable achievements, and, above all, challenges that tested our strength, faith, and resilience.
The session came with many devastating challenges, most especially the collapse of our school building as a result of the heavy rainstorm. It was a painful and unexpected experience that left us with countless memories and lessons.
Yet, in the midst of it all, God remained faithful. What could have brought us to a standstill became another chapter in our story of resilience. We continued to teach, learn, rebuild, encourage one another, and move forward with renewed determination.
Today, as we look back through these pictures, we are not merely looking at photographs—we are looking at pieces of our history. Each picture tells a story: a story of our pupils, our teachers, our parents, our struggles, our celebrations, our achievements, and God's faithfulness.
These pictures will preserve the memories of the 2025/2026 academic session for generations to come.
We may have experienced storms, but the storm did not destroy our vision.
We are still building.
We are still growing.
We are still shining.
And we are still committed to our mission of Building to Lighten the World.
