In another session, Muhideen Temitope, the publisher of Confidence News came to speak to the children on skills and certifications -- the importance of the two and how they work together to shape a positive future.

It was an interesting moment as he beamed with excitement answering his questions and nodding to the stories he used in putting the topic across.

To celebrate the children's day, we were out to discuss with the children on ways to shape their lives for a better future.

It was pleasing to have Basheer Luqman Olarewaju in their midst to talk to them about the essence of reading and how to explore social media for personal growth.

We really appreciate his time to share with the children from his pool knowledge. No doubt, it was such a fascinating moment.

As the involvement in social vices by youth keeps bedeviling the development of our communities, we felt the need to map out ways to open their eyes and minds to the negative effects of these things.

Hence we came up with The Positive Touch, an initiative that aims to educate emerging youth against social vices, thereby empowering them to shape a positive future.

We did it last year when we converged with some youths to discuss the effects of hard drugs and how to prevent drug addiction.

Within our capacity, we shall continue to do everything possible to ensure the social vices do not affect the coming youths, to those affected, we've developed strategies to win it with them.

This month, we're holding another program for them. Stay tuned as we keep you updated.
