Welcome to December!!!🤩

If you are like me, you already have your Detty December plans; parties, hangouts, carol service, rest, time with family and loved ones.

On the other hand, there are event bookings, photo sessions and edits I have to do as well😭.

I have decided that while I work, I’d create time to play. Because play time is important to boost creativity and stay healthy.

In February this year, we held the difference makers photography workshop

One of the things I highlighted was the fact that a great image is not achieved after editing but while shooting.

Of course, there is a plethora of amazing editing tools like photoshop and Lightroom. But getting it right on set makes editing easier. It also keeps the essence of the subject intact.

Editing should rather be a way of enhancing an image instead of distorting it.

Certainly, people take pictures for different reasons and this will determine their approach both while capturing and editing. Consequently, knowing your ‘WHY’ will go a long way in guiding you through your decision making process...

Color grading is an important part of making a picture stand out.

It starts with a good understanding of the color theory. Knowing what color means and how to apply them will go a long way in making your color grade exceptional.
