Parents and students, please read this…
Most secondary school students don’t know how to study past questions — and it’s affecting their performance.
I’ve seen this many times.
A student rushes through a whole year of past questions, marks their script, sees their score… and concludes they haven’t improved.
But how will you improve when you’re only answering, not learning?
Here is the correct way to study past questions intentionally:
1. Attempt just 5 questions at a time.
Quality is better than speed.
2. Check the solutions slowly.
Don’t just mark right or wrong.
Study the explanation behind each answer.
3. Understand why the correct option is correct.
There’s a reason.
Find it.
4. Understand why the wrong options are wrong.
This is where real learning happens.
Every option teaches something.
5. Learn something from every question.
A new word, a new idea, a new thinking skill.
Don’t leave a question without gaining something.
6. For English especially…
When asked to choose the word nearly opposite in meaning, first understand the underlined word.
Then understand all the options.
Only then pick the best opposite with confidence.
This is how students grow.
Not by rushing through questions.
Not by scoring themselves daily.
But by studying with intentionality.
Past questions are not just for testing yourself.
They are for training your mind.
Do this consistently; five questions at a time and you will see real improvement in understanding, confidence, and results.
If you found this helpful, share it or tag a student who needs it. Let’s help our children learn the right way.

Part 2.
Beyond Math: A Scientist & Astronomer* 🌍✨
Al-Khwarizmi didn’t just focus on math. He also:
📌 Created accurate world maps
📌 Developed astronomical tables to track stars & planets
📌 Helped improve calendar systems
His work helped navigators and scientists make better calculations for time and space travel!
Even though Al-Khwarizmi lived over 1,200 years ago, his ideas are still shaping the world today!
✅ Algebra – We still solve equations the way he taught!
✅ Numbers (1,2,3…) – His system is now used worldwide!
✅ Algorithms – The foundation of modern computing!
Without him, math, science, and technology would be VERY different today!
*Why Al-Khwarizmi Matters Today*
Al-Khwarizmi wasn’t just a mathematician. He was a visionary. He made math easier, shaped computer science, and helped create the number system we use today. His work paved the way for the modern world. 🌍
We pray to Allah to forgive all Muslim scholars whose contributions have greatly impacted the world. May He (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) grant us sound knowledge to benefit humanity and secure a blessed place in the Hereafter.🤲

Math wouldn't have been as easy as it is today if not for Al-Khwarizmi.
1️⃣ Who Was Al-Khwarizmi?
Al-Khwarizmi was born around 780 AD in Khwarizm (now Uzbekistan).
He later moved to Baghdad, which at the time was the world’s center for learning. He worked in a famous place called The House of Wisdom, where scholars gathered to study science, math, and astronomy.
This place was like a giant research lab where the smartest minds of the time worked together.
2️⃣ The Problem With Math at That Time 🤯
Back then, people didn’t have an easy way to do calculations. They used Roman numerals (X, IX, L, C...), which made multiplication, division, and solving equations really difficult.
Imagine trying to multiply XXVII × XIV instead of 27 × 14! 🤯
Al-Khwarizmi saw this problem and said, “There must be a better way!”

Day 2: The Brain & Fasting – How Ramadan Enhances Memory & Focus.
📌Did you know? Fasting isn’t just for spiritual benefits—it also improves brain function! Here’s how:
1. Increased Focus – When fasting, the body releases norepinephrine, a brain chemical that boosts
*Epinephrine* also known as *adrenaline* , is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands, which are located on top of your kidneys. You can think of epinephrine as the body's *"emergency response"* chemical.
*Emergency Mode* : When you’re in a stressful or dangerous situation, your body needs to react quickly. Epinephrine is released into your bloodstream, helping you to either fight off the danger or run away from it. This is often called the "fight or flight" response.
*Super Boost* : Epinephrine increases your heart rate, making your heart pump faster. This helps get more oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and brain, giving you more energy and focus.
*Quick Thinking* : It also causes your airways to open up, making it easier to breathe. This helps your body take in more oxygen so you can think clearly and move quickly.
*Energy Supply* : Epinephrine releases stored energy from your liver and muscles, giving you a quick burst of fuel to handle the situation.
In short, epinephrine is like your body’s superhero, ready to jump into action whenever you need it. It helps you stay alert, energized, and ready to handle emergencies.
*Norepinephrine* is quite similar to epinephrine, and they work together in your body. However, they have some unique roles. Here are some of its functions:
*Alertness Booster* : Norepinephrine helps keep you awake, alert, and focused. It's like a wake-up call for your brain, helping you stay sharp and pay attention.
*Fight or Flight* : Like epinephrine, norepinephrine is part of the "fight or flight" response. It helps prepare your body to react to stressful or dangerous situations by increasing your heart rate and blood pressure.
