I will give you 10 tips that would solidify your landlord/tenant's relationship.

1. Ensure there is a tenancy/lease agreement between the landlord and the proposed tenant.
The is to avoid being forcefully ejected from the apartment by your landlord/ tenant in an illegal way. Once there is an agreement, both of you are bound by the said agreement (subject to any overriding law).

2. It is essential to understand and follow the terms of your tenant/lease agreement and know your rights as a tenant.
Review your tenancy/lease agreement: Carefully read and understand the terms of your tenancy/lease agreement, including the duration of the lease, rent payment terms, and any rules or regulations.

*Please it is very important to note that it is not all tenancy/agreements that you sign as tenants. Before you put pen to paper for any agreement, contact your lawyer for proper and adequate advice.*
