Narrated by Abū Hurayrah: Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) said, _"Seven are the persons whom Allāh will shade in His shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His: a just ruler, a youth who grows up in the worship of Allāh, a person whose heart is attached to the mosque, two individuals who love each other for Allāh's sake, a person who remembers Allāh when alone and their eyes well up with tears, someone whom a beautiful person of the opposite gender seduces but they reject the offer, saying 'I fear Allāh,' and a person who gives charity so secretly that their left hand does not know what their right hand has given."_ [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 660]
May Almighty Allāh include us among His blessed servants in this world and the hereafter. Amīn.

Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Do not supplicate against yourselves, do not supplicate against your children, and do not supplicate against your property, lest you do it at a time in which Allāh answers all supplications so you will be granted what you asked for.” [Sahīh Muslim: 3014]
In moments of anger, frustration, or exhaustion, a careless statement can turn into a duʿāʾ we never intended. Therefore, let our tongues be filled with good words, our hearts with patience, and our supplications with mercy and wisdom.
May Allāh accept our duʿāʾ, protect us from harmful words, and grant us goodness in what we say and what we intend. Āmīn.

Umm Salamah (May Allāh be pleased with her) narrated: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) left his home, he would recite, "Bismillāh, tawakkaltu 'alallāh. Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika an adilla aw udalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw azlima aw uzlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala 'alayya" [Abu Dāwūd & At-Tirmidhī: 4327]
According to At-Tirmidhī, it is reported that anyone who recites this prayer will be told, "You are guided, defended, and protected."
Abū Dāwūd adds, "One devil will say to another: 'How can you approach someone who has been guided, defended, and protected?'"
May Allāh, in His infinite mercy, make our homes, our school, and our society places of safety, guidance, and success in this world and the Hereafter. Āmīn.

Allāh (Subḥānahū wa Taʿālā) says:
“And be not in haste with the Qur’ān before its revelation is completed to you, and say, ‘My Lord, increase me in knowledge.’”
[Surah Ṭā Hā: 114]
O Allāh, we ask You as You have taught us to ask: “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” Increase our intellects in beneficial knowledge that nurtures īmān, refines character, and leads to excellence. Grant our teachers wisdom, patience, and sincerity in their teaching, and reward them for every effort made in guiding our intellects. Bless our parents with understanding and foresight, and unite their hearts with the school upon goodness and trust.
O Allāh, make this term a term of growth, discipline, and success, free from haste and full of wisdom. Āmīn.

Allāh (Subḥānahū wa Taʿālā) says: “And if you should count the favours of Allāh, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.” [Surah An-Naḥl: 18]
Allāh reminds us that our lives are surrounded by blessings we often overlook: health, knowledge, guidance, protection, and the opportunity to do good. This verse calls us to humility and gratitude: gratitude not only in words, but in obedience; not only in comfort, but in discipline; not only in ease, but in perseverance.
May Allāh help us recognise His countless favours, forgive our shortcomings, and envelop us in His mercy. Āmīn.

Allāh (Subḥānahū wa Taʿālā) says: “Indeed, those who have said, ‘Our Lord is Allāh’ and then remained steadfast, the angels will descend upon them, [saying], ‘Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.’” [Surah Fuṣṣilat: 30]
This verse teaches us that īmān is not only a statement of the tongue. It is a commitment that must be upheld with steadfastness. Life will bring pressure, fear, loss, and uncertainty. Yet Allāh assures us that those who remain steadfast will not be abandoned.
May Allāh make us among those who stand firm upon the truth, who do not fear nor grieve, and who are given glad tidings in this world and the Hereafter Āmīn.

Allāh (Subḥānahū wa Taʿālā) says:
“And when your Lord proclaimed: ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed My punishment is severe.’” [Surah Ibrāhīm: 7]
Alhamdulillāh for the blessings of this term; our children’s safety, the commitment of our teachers, and the steady support of our dear parents. This verse invites us to end the term with shukr, so that Allāh may place even more barakah, progress, and protection upon our school community.
Alhamdulillāhi Rabbil ‘Ālamīn.
May Allāh accept our efforts, forgive our shortcomings, grant our families ease, and return our intellects next term with renewed strength, health, and guidance. Āmīn.

Allah (Subhānahū wa Taʿālā) says:
“And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.”
[Surah Al-‘Ankabūt: 69]
This verse emphasizes the value of sincere effort and consistency. It assures that dedication in seeking truth and remaining steadfast for the sake of Allah brings divine guidance. A perfect reminder for students, teachers, and believers that true success comes through perseverance and striving in the path of Allah.
May Allah guide us, bless our efforts, and count us among the righteous.
Āmīn.

Allāh (Subhānahū wa Ta‘ālā) says:
“And be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, ‘My Lord, increase me in knowledge.’”
[Surah Ṭā Hā: 114]
As we begin our first term examinations today, this verse reminds us to guide our children with reassurance, not fear; with encouragement, not pressure. Let us encourage our children to recite the du‘ā Allāh teaches us: Rabbi zidnī ‘ilmā
(My Lord, increase me in knowledge.)
O Allāh, increase our children in beneficial knowledge and grant them clarity of mind, calm hearts, and steady hands. O Allāh, remove fear and haste from them; replace these with confidence and understanding, make easy for them what seems difficult, and reward their efforts. Āmīn.
