Deep learning is said to be achieved when a learner shows great information absorption by the ability to transform what is learned into active knowledge construction. The end result of which includes creativity and problem-solving skills from what has been learned.

Being able to achieve deep learning is not far-fetched; the secret lies in the term β€œGenuine Excitement," which is responsible for sparking interest and curiosity in a learner.

Through genuine excitement, curiosity is sparked, and the curiosity begins to work as a cushion and lubricant, making students enjoy the process of reading and stay motivated.

Our students are taught the importance of curiosity and how to spark it up through deliberate effort of producing genuine excitement toward their subjects.

All resources and instruments are available to help your child spark curiosity through the art of genuine excitement toward learning anything important to him or her. Periodic enlightenment, learning materials, practical tools, and field learning.

You can do it. You can help your child begin their journey of mastering the art of genuine excitement in learning and achieve big dreams. Just contact us, as we are available 24/7.

WHAT CAN A STUDENT DO WITH A SUBJECT THAT PROVES TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

When a student declares a subject or topic too tough, or even begins to categorize himself as not suitable for it, he means it. It most likely mean he has tried reading and studying to the best of his ability, yet nothing seems to become clearer about the subject.

He is probably not lazy, lacking desire, or wishing to be limited. What is wrong is a faulty mindset that needs to be corrected.

What can he then do?

It is simple. What needs to be done is to repair this faulty mindset with the curative β€œI can’t do it yet” antidote.

But what does this mean for students struggling with any subject?

Here it is.

🟒 When he says, β€œI can’t do this,” he has judged himself from the perspective of other people’s progress.

🟒 He has forgotten that not everyone learns every subject, topic, or concept at the same pace.

🟒 He moves at the same pace as his peers and stops too early, alongside those who have already grasped the concept, without realizing he needs to continue because he has not yet achieved the goal.

🟒 He forgets that not understanding something within the same day, week, month, or even year as his peers does not mean he has failed. It simply means he does not understand it yet.

🟒 He needs to keep showing up to read and study. He needs to keep asking the right questions. He needs to keep approaching teachers and the right people, without worrying about when it will finally become clear.

🟒 Thomas Edison’s teachers once thought he was β€œtoo stupid to learn anything.” He reportedly made thousands of unsuccessful attempts before inventing the practical light bulb.

🟒 J. K. Rowling was rejected by 12 publishers before Harry Potter was accepted. She was also struggling financially at the time.

🟒 Oprah Winfrey was fired from her early TV job because she was considered β€œunfit for television,” yet she became one of the most influential media figures in the world.

None of these individuals would have succeeded if they had believed that failing to succeed early meant they could never succeed at all.

β€œI can’t do it yet” is the antidote to the faulty mindset of β€œI can’t do it.”
