Today, 24th of July 2026 being the end of the 2025/2026 academic session. Sheikh Abdulkadir College held its usual end of the term Parent Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting, bringing together parents, members of the management, and staff in a shared commitment to the continuous growth and development of our students and the school.

The meeting served as an important platform for constructive dialogue, where key issues relating to student’s academic performance, discipline, moral upbringing, welfare, and overall development were extensively discussed. Parents were encouraged to remain actively involved in their children's education by working closely with the school, reinforcing positive values at home, and supporting initiatives that promote academic excellence and responsible character.

The school management also expressed sincere appreciation to all parents for their unwavering trust, cooperation, and commitment throughout the academic session. It was emphasized that the success of every child is best achieved through a strong partnership between the home and the school, where mutual understanding, effective communication, and shared responsibility remain the foundation of meaningful progress.

As another successful academic term draws to a close, the management, teaching staff, and non teaching staff of Sheikh Abdulkadir College came together for the end of Term General Meeting, a gathering dedicated to reflection, appreciation, and purposeful planning for the future.

The meeting commenced with profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for His boundless mercy, guidance, and protection throughout the term. The Principal expressed heartfelt appreciation to Allah for preserving the lives of every member of the school community and granting the strength and wisdom needed to successfully complete another phase of the academic calendar.

In his address, the Principal extended sincere gratitude to the entire management team, teaching staff, and non teaching staff for their unwavering commitment, cooperation, and collective dedication to the growth and development of the College. He acknowledged that the remarkable achievements recorded during the term were made possible through teamwork, professionalism, and the shared vision of building an institution that continually strives for excellence.

The meeting also provided an avenue for meaningful deliberations on several issues concerning the welfare and continuous advancement of the school. Today, Tuesday 21st of July 2026. The Old Pupil's Association of Adeta Progressive Senior Secondary School, Ilorin, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Principal of Sheikh Abdulkadir College, Ilorin, in person of Dr. Sh*ttu Abdullateef, who formerly served as the Principal of Adeta Progressive Senior Secondary School.
During the visit, members of the association congratulated him on his new appointment, expressed their appreciation for his exemplary leadership and service, and offered prayers for Allah's guidance, wisdom, and abundant success as he begins this new chapter of leadership at Sheikh Abdulkadir College.

While the Humanities Department students captivated the audience with an engaging Debate Competition and colourful Cultural Dance Display, the Science Department students were equally immersed in an intellectually stimulating Quiz Competition.

The competition featured thought-provoking questions spanning Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, challenging participants to demonstrate their knowledge, analytical thinking, speed, and accuracy. The contest not only tested academic excellence but also encouraged healthy competition, teamwork, confidence, and a passion for scientific inquiry.

The event created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and learning, with students cheering on their peers as contestants displayed impressive problem-solving skills and quick reasoning.
