Abu Hurayrah (RA) said:
“A man may pray for sixty years, and not a single prayer of his is accepted.”
It was asked: “How can that be?”
1. Not moving the lips during recitation
In salah, the lips must move for it to count as recitation. Simply reading in the heart without moving the lips is not sufficient for obligatory prayers.
2. Incorrect sitting positions
One should follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in how to sit between the two prostrations (sujood) and during the tashahhud.
3. Excessive movement during prayer
A person must remain calm and composed in salah. Unnecessary and frequent movements that are not part of the prayer should be avoided.
4. Not prostrating on the seven limbs
The Prophet ﷺ instructed us to prostrate on seven parts: the forehead (including the nose), both hands, both knees, and the toes of both feet.
5. Disturbing others with recitation
Reciting in a way that distracts others can disturb fellow worshippers and affect their concentration.
6. Not properly washing the heels in wudu
The Prophet ﷺ warned: “Woe to the heels from the Fire,” emphasizing that water must fully reach the heels during ablution.
7. A woman praying without covering her feet
According to the majority of scholars, a woman should cover her entire body in prayer except for the face and hands.

DID YOU KNOW? Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had instructed his Ummah to kill wall geckos whenever they see any. In recent time, modern medicine has discovered from findings that this animal (Gecko) skins are more dangerous than snake's venom, a drop from it can clear entire family when mistakenly taking along with meals.
Ignorantly people sees this animal as been harmless, also helps them to eat up other unwanted known insects like mosquitos, cockroaches and others, without knowing that this is the most dangerous killer in the household and environment. This reptile can kill within 60 seconds if not medically attended to. Please becareful, wipe this animal today , before it wipe the family.
To eradicate it totally in your home, just mix salt with garlic and put it in different corners of your room. You will never see them again. Save a life today and be happy tomorrow. May Allah save us from this dangerous reptile 🦎. AMEEN 🤲

Why Did Allah Give 4 Months & 10 Days of ‘Iddah? 🤍
In a world that rushes everything…
Islam teaches us to pause with wisdom, dignity, and mercy.
Allah ﷻ says:
“And those of you who die and leave wives behind them, they (the wives) shall wait by themselves for four months and ten days. Then when they have fulfilled their term, there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in a lawful manner. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:234)
This is not a restriction… it is protection. It is not hardship… it is divine wisdom.
💭 The wisdom behind ‘iddah:
1️⃣. Preservation of lineage
This period ensures clarity of pregnancy, protecting the child’s identity, inheritance, and family rights.
2️⃣. Honor for the marriage
A bond that was sacred is not ended overnight.
This time reflects loyalty, respect, and dignity for the husband.
3️⃣. Emotional healing
Losing a husband is not small.
Allah gives her time to grieve, reflect, and reconnect with Him - without pressure from the world.
🌿 Islam doesn’t ignore emotions… it protects them.
▪
📚 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“A woman whose husband has died should not wear clothes of adornment, nor use kohl, nor perfume, and should not get married until four months and ten days have passed.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 5334, Sahih Muslim 1486)
💭 During ‘iddah:
▪ She remains in her home
▪ She may go out only for necessity
▪ She avoids beautification and adornment
▪ She is given space, respect, and protection
And when the period ends… she is free.
Free to move forward. Free to remarry. Free to rebuild her life.
💎 Final Reflection:
Every ruling in Islam… even the ones we don’t fully understand… carries wisdom, mercy, and justice.
Allah does not burden…
He protects.
