This day encourages societies and governments to create policies that protect and support families.
Technology has also changed family relationships in modern times. While technology helps families communicate easily, excessive use of phones and social media can reduce personal interaction at home. Therefore, families should make efforts to spend quality time together through conversations, meals, and shared activities.
On this day, schools, communities, and organizations organize events such as seminars, cultural programs, and family gatherings to celebrate the value of family unity. These activities help strengthen relationships and encourage peace and understanding among people.
In conclusion, the International Day of Families reminds us that families are the heart of every society. When families are strong, societies become more peaceful and successful. Everyone should appreciate, respect, and care for their family members in order to build a better future for all.

End FGM now.
Girls’ bodies are not cultural battlegrounds.
FGM is torture.
Not tradition.
Not religion.
No excuse.
No silence.
End female ge***al mutilation.

3️⃣ Stay organized – keep a family calendar for school events & activities.
4️⃣ Don’t overschedule – leave room for rest and family time.
5️⃣ Talk it out – check in with your child about their feelings and expectations.
