UNIVERSITY LIFE
University life, where dreams take flight,
With admission gained, first class in sight.
On a great platter, we began our quest,
Reading daily, at night our eyes rest.
But as the first year passed us by,
Enticements of university life caught our eye.
The burden of our first goal did increase,
In relationships, purpose found its lease.
As other aspirations took control.
And connections held a strong grip on our soul.
The goal once clear, now shifted its shape,
Craving something more, a different landscape.
Relationships and connections beckoned us near,
Believing they held the key to what's dear.
For in the bonds we form with others,
Lies the path to success, as we discover.
For priorities have shifted, changed their game,
Yet still, a spark of our initial aim.
Remains within, though faint, not lost entirely,
And on different paths, our focus lies currently.
School, once seen as the ultimate scam,
Now seen as a vessel for connection's grand slam.
