University of Ilorin according to statistics receives the largest admission applications -JAMB candidates as well as Direct entry candidates. As a matter of fact, they receive about 20% or more in selection of universities of most preferred choice. Reason for this is believed to be because of the fast paced academic calenders of the citadel of learning.

Itโs a 9-10 months program, after which a direct entry form will be obtained for 200 level admission processing. *It is designed to solve problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria University instead of JAMB.*

๐ฌ *IJMB* has become a perfect substitution for school leavers ๐ who couldnโt meet up with the JAMB/UTME rigorous challenges faced in processing admission into Tertiary Institution in Nigeria. With the right combination of subjects/courses,
๐The maximum point a student can attain in IJMB examination is 16 points,
๐An extra point is given if there is no grade โFโ in the result.
๐The IJMB result grading ranges from
A- 5 points
B- 4 points
C- 3 points
D- 2 points
E- 1 points
F- 0 points
*REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY*
๐Oโ Level Result (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, OโLEVEL and Equivalents).
๐With minimum of Five Credits, English and Mathematics Included.
๐8 Passports with any background, Should be available for submission on resumption. ๐ *Awaiting result can also apply*
A student with combination of subject such as
*Physics, Chemistry and Biology*
Grades
*Physics โ A = 5 Points Chemistry โ B = 4 Points Biology โ c = 3 Points Total = 12 + 1 (Additional Points)*
๐Since, there is no grade โFโ in the result, the IJMB board automatically awards an additional โOne Pointโ to such result.
๐Therefore a student with the grades above can boast of 13 points in his/her IJMB examination which is enough to study any course of his/her choice.

*ADMISSION INTO UNILORIN WITH NABTEB AโLEVEL*
This is a direct entry program. But this direct entry programme is limited to certain set of people. You have to be either in the business technology or administrative field which should of course align with your course of study before you can be eligible. This ultimately implies that only business related course in Unilorin accepts this as an entry level requirement. To gain admission using this method, upon confirmation of your course of study and itโs availability in UNILORIN, you go further to pick up your application form. *UNILORIN JUPEB PROGRAMME*
The scheme has been in existence for quite some time and Unilorin has been using this as an entry level requirement for direct entry students. In fact, there is a JUPEB Centre in University of Ilorin. This alone should tell you the credibility of the programme.
Apart from that, JUPEB currently has study centers in almost all over the country JUPEB in her entirety was introduced to ease JAMB admission process. It doesnโt matter if you register at any of the verified Centre, if your choice of University is Unilorin and all requirement are met, you will be admitted.

ADMISSION INTO UNILORIN TROUGH CAMBRIDGE AโLEVEL
Another way to gain admission into Unilorin without JAMB is through Cambridge Aโlevel Direct entry examination. This is also an Aโlevel programme which is acceptable in all university across the nation. It is regularized by the University of Ibadan. Although, there are other institution running Cambridge Aโโlevel programme, it is imperative to know that only verified centers are advisable to avoid future irregularities. *Eligibility Criteria For DE Admissions In UNILORIN*
All applicants of the University of Ilorin applying for direct entry admissions are required to possess at least five Oโlevel passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
