O human! You can never cover large distance by mere leaping..

You are only in haste, the predestined events continues to push you gently

Leave all affairs in the hands of your Lord and seek his help
Do not consider delay as a failure, delay sometimes could be protection
Leave the control of your propositions to the one who controls the affairs of all in existence

Dear Scholar of the Deen,

Please enlighten us on the issue of predicting the times of Ṣalāh and Ramadan fasting. What makes one predictable while the other is not?

I have observed that some people reject the predictability of Ṣalāh times yet support the use of calculations to determine the beginning and end of Ramadan.

On the other hand, some accept the prediction of Ṣalāh times but oppose the use of calculations for determining Ramadan.

We would love to learn from your knowledge and insights on this matter.
