ACCEPTED PURIFICATION🤲
Ibn 'Abbaas reported: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made zakatul fitr obligatory as a purification for the fasting person from filthy talk and indecent speech, and as food for the needy. Whoever gives it before Eid prayer, it is accepted as zakatul. And whoever gives it after the prayer, it is only a form of charity.
Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith 1827

Brothers and sisters, this charity purifies the fasting person from filthy talk and provides food for the needy. When given before the Eid prayer, it is accepted as the required charity.

May Allah accept it as an act of worship.

ZAKATUL FITR🎁
Ibn 'Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah mandated (as Zakatul fitr) one sa' of dates or one sa' of barley upon every slave and freeman, male and female among the muslims.
Sahih Bukhari 1504

Brothers and sisters, this shows that Zakatul Fitr is a duty for all Muslims and is given at the end of Ramadan to help the needy and allow everyone to share in the joy of Eid.

NOTE: ONE SA'U = FOUR MUDD

May Allah accept it as an act of worship.
